BUDAPEST, June 19 (Xinhua) -- Visiting Chinese Vice Premier Liu Yandong said here on Monday that the mechanism of "16+1 cooperation" between China and the Central and Eastern European countries (CEEC) is fruitful, and has shown strong vitality since its establishment five years ago.
Li said reforms offer the way forward in cutting overcapacity, which is a vital part of the supply-side structural reform.
"The Belt and Road Initiative has offered a timely and convenient framework for SCO members to facilitate regional inter-connectivity and achieve free flows of goods, capital, service and technology in the end," he noted.
This is the first time China has hosted the meeting. Some 400 delegates from 44 countries and 10 international organizations are attending the meeting.
The Long March-5 made its maiden flight in November 2016 in Wenchang. It can carry a payload of 25 tonnes into low Earth orbit and 14 tonnes in geostationary orbit, over two times the capacity of current carrier rockets.
