ATHENS, June 20 (Xinhua) -- China is ready to expand two-way trade and investment with Greece, visiting Chinese Premier Li Keqiang said when meeting with Greek President Karolos Papoulias here on Friday.
Chinese Vice President Li Yuanchao attended the opening ceremony.
Under the theme of "Local Cooperation -- Important Engine for China-CEEC Cooperation", the China-CEEC local leaders meeting and China Investment Forum are slated for Aug. 28 and Aug. 29.
The two countries have a new type of relationship between major players, instead of military allies, he said, adding that their cooperation does not target a third country.
"Zhang and I are old friends," Hao said, adding that he hoped for a chance to see Zhang in Beijing and hear what he has to say about his Taiwan trip.
