An Oregon man was arrested last week and faces multiple criminal charges after attempting to destroy a McDonald's location's "Golden Arches" after he was refused an order of 30 double cheeseburgers. The News-Review first reported the March 17 incident, which took place in Sutherlin, Oregon. Jedediah Ezekiel Fulton was charged with suspicion of second-degree disorderly conduct, second-degree criminal trespass, second-degree criminal mischief and harassment, the News-Review reported. The incident became so scary, a witness inside the McDonald's pulled out a gun out of fear. Fulton allegedly became irate after McDonald's employees refused to fulfill his order of 30 double cheeseburgers. After being refused the order, Fulton allegedly tore down a McDonald's banner and attempted to destroy the location's Golden Arches. Why he was refused the order in the first place is unknown.  934

ANCHORAGE, Alaska – President Donald Trump is projected to win the state of Alaska, according to The Associated Press.Winning the state gives Trump three additional electoral votes, bringing him to a total of 217, still far behind Joe Biden.The AP still projects Biden will win the presidency, since he is on track to finish with at least 290 electoral votes. A candidate needs 270 to win.With the contest in Alaska called, the only two states that remain up in the air in the presidential race are Georgia and North Carolina, based on AP projections. Regardless of which way they sway, it likely won’t alter who takes the White House.Along with the presidency being called, the AP also projects that Alaska’s Republican senator, Dan Sullivan, will win reelection to the U.S. Senate.Sullivan's win brings to the GOP to 50 seats in the Senate, while the Democrats have 48. The Senate majority will all come down to who wins the two runoff races in Georgia. Arizona officials have certified Joe Biden’s narrow victory over President Donald Trump in the state.Democratic Secretary of State Katie Hobbs and Republican Gov. Doug Ducey defended the integrity of the election even as lawyers for Trump were across town Monday arguing, without evidence, to nine Republican lawmakers that the election was marred by fraud.Lawsuits and legal action taken by the Trump campaign did not go far in Arizona, in at least one instance, the lawyers dropped a case seeking a recount of Election Day ballots. At Monday's certification event, Ducey said, “We do elections well here in Arizona. The system is strong.”Biden won Arizona by 0.3% of the nearly 3.4 million ballots cast, a margin of just under 10,500 votes. He’s the second Democrat in 70 years to win the state.
