A Beverly Hills real estate agent and another man are accused of burglarizing celebrities' homes in Southern California, sometimes during open-house viewings, prosecutors say.Real estate agent Jason Emil Yaselli and Benjamin Eitan Ackerman have been charged with several crimes, accused of taking more than than 0,000 through fraud and embezzlement, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said.Their alleged victims include musicians Usher and Adam Lambert, as well as "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" stars Paul and Dorit Kemsley and former NFL player Shaun Phillips, prosecutors said.Ackerman, of Beverly Hills, was arrested August 16, and Yaselli was arrested Wednesday.From December 2016 to August 2018, prosecutors allege, Yaselli encouraged Ackerman to steal luxury items from 14 homes and then sell them to make payments on Yaselli's credit card.In many cases, the men identified the targets or committed the burglaries during open houses, prosecutors allege. The thefts happened in Beverly Hills, West Hollywood, Brentwood and Hollywood Hills.The men have been charged with money laundering, first-degree residential burglary, identity theft, conspiracy to commit burglary and conspiracy to commit money laundering, prosecutor said.Yaselli, 32, is expected to be arraigned Friday. (WKMG/CNN) -- A 42-year-old Orlando woman is facing murder charges after authorities say she zipped up her boyfriend inside a suitcase.Deputies responded Monday after Sarah Boone reported Jorge Torres, 42, was dead.She told police she put him in the suitcase during a game of hide-and-seek.Boone said they were drinking alcohol, and she passed out in her bed while he was still in the suitcase.But deputies searched her phone and found videos showing Torres yelling he couldn't breathe from inside the suitcase.Boone can be heard laughing and saying, "that's what I feel like when you cheat on me" and yelling obscenities.She is facing second-degree murder charges. 677

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Mesmerized by living history five shows a day, five days a week, one man steps into a cinema hall to keep a century old tradition alive. Inside theater three of the Chase Park Plaza Cinema in St. Louis, Gerry Marian represents a throwback to the movie houses of yester-year. “It is my passion. I love it. I really love it,” said Marian. At 70 years old, he is among the last working cinema organists in the country. When asked what it’s like to sit down at the classic organ, Marian says he’s transported far away. “I’m like in a different world,” he said. For the last 20 years, Marian has played an electronic orchestral instrument for audiences between movie showings, a preamble to the latest Hollywood picture. “This past October, we did ‘Phantom of The Opera’ and we had 130 people here on Saturday and 110 people here on a Sunday,” explained Marian. The theater organ also known as a “unit orchestra” can mimic a host of sounds from flutes and oboes, to strings and percussion. “It's an orchestra in one,” said Marian. From the early days of the nickelodeon until the dawn of talkies, theater organs were a fixture in nearly all grand cinema palaces. They were originally designed to allow musicians like Marian to have all the instruments at their fingertips. “These theater organs basically were intended to do the silent movie, to complement the silent movie,” said Marian. Marian committed his life to the art after seeing legendary theater organist Stan Kann play at St. Louis’ famous Fox Theater in 1961. “My dad took me up there and I told him right then and there that this is what I want. This is my vocation,” he says. More than 50 years later, Marian says he has no plans to stop playing just yet.“I don't know. But I love doing it. It's my life. It's my love.” 1813

A 6.4-magnitude earthquake struck Puerto Rico before dawn on Tuesday, killing one man, injuring at least eight other people and collapsing buildings in the southern part of the island. The quake was followed by a series of strong aftershocks, part of a 10-day series of temblors spawned by the grinding of tectonic plates along three faults beneath southern Puerto Rico. Seismologists say it's impossible to predict when the quakes will stop. The 6.4-magnitude quake cut power as power plants shut down to protect themselves. Authorities said two plants suffered light damage and they expected power to be restored later Tuesday. It was the second straight day in which a signifcant quake struck the island. On Monday, a 5.8 magnitude quake shook the island, causing minor damage.Puerto Rico Gov. Wanda Vazquez signed a series of executive orders Tuesday declaring a state of emergency on the island and activating the National Guard.The Associated Press reports that a 73-year-old man was killed when a wall in his home collapsed on top of him.
