An online Good Samaritan challenge that's gone viral prompted two Michigan brothers to offer free lawn mowing to people who can't easily do it themselves.Now, the nationwide challenge's organizer is headed to metro Detroit to recognize their efforts.16-year-old Sam and 13-year-old Hunter have mowed 51 lawns in Westland for free since April. It's a task most people hate, especially in the summer heat; but Sam loves it. So when his parents told him about the "50 Yard Challenge," it was a no-brainer.“We get the feeling that we’re helping people who really can’t help themselves," he said.Rodney Smith, Jr. created the challenge. It looked like he was struggling, so I pulled over and helped him out. They get prizes along the way, and once they hit 50 lawns, Rodney hits the road; he’s making his way to Michigan Friday to offer Hunter and Sam not only thanks but a lawnmower, weed wacker and blower.Sam and Hunter’s parents follow Rodney on social media and put the word out that the boys were in.It didn’t take long before they were getting requests.“A lot of neighbors actually were advocating for neighbors they had, that they knew that couldn’t do it. So it was really cool to see the amount of community that came out. The boys have actually made what we think are going to be long-lasting relationships with some of these that don’t have contact with the outside world," their mom Keri told WXYZ.Fifty other kids from around the country have also completed the challenge, and about 1,000 are in the process of doing it now.“It’s just great. Especially when things kind of hit, a lot of the activities they weren’t able to do anymore. We couldn’t play baseball, we couldn’t go out to school, we couldn’t have activities to actually do," said their dad, Kyle.They may be helping others, but the boys said they're getting something really important out of the work too.“It’s heartwarming. We just get to meet nice people that just... that really want to have connections with other people that just can’t really go anywhere," said 13-year-old Hunter.“They appreciate what we do," Sam told WXYZ. An Ohio state legislator is urging people not to get tested for COVID-19.Republican State Rep. Nino Vitale made the request on his state representative Facebook page Tuesday after the state announced that counties determined to be "high-risk" for COVID-19 would require face coverings be worn in public."Are you tired of living in a dictatorship yet?" Vitale said. "This is what happens when people go crazy and get tested. STOP GETTING TESTED!"Vitale claimed testing is "giving the government an excuse to claim something is happening that is not happening at the magnitude they say it is happening."Vitale's claim echoed those made by President Donald Trump last month at a rally in Tulsa, Oklahoma — that an increase in testing is leading to disproportionately high case numbers. Trump has said he has asked administration officials to "slow down" testing to artificially deflate numbers, though many in his administration dispute those claims.Daily confirmed cases of COVID-19 have steadily risen in Ohio since the beginning of June as testing has increased. But according to figures from the Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington, it's not just new cases that are on the rise in Ohio — deaths are also beginning to tick up, and hospitalization resource use is also on the rise, indicating that an increase in testing is not the only factor in the numbers spike.Currently, about 20 people die each day of COVID-19 in Ohio. The IHME estimates that with universal mask requirements, that number would drop to about four a day by Sept. 1.Ohio currently lists seven counties that are considered "high risk." Vitale's district does not fall in any of those counties.Despite recommendations from health experts, Vitale has consistently rallied supporters against the use of masks and face coverings. An attorney for President Donald Trump's personal lawyer Michael Cohen was provided secret information about House Intelligence Committee testimony from another committee witness, a sign of the growing discord engulfing the Russia investigation, according to a source with direct knowledge of the matter.In December, an attorney for David Kramer -- an associate to Sen. John McCain who had met with former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele -- sent a letter to the House Intelligence Committee accusing the committee's Republicans of leaking information about Kramer's December testimony to the attorney of another witness.The attorney, Larry Robbins, was referencing a conversation with Cohen's attorney Stephen Ryan in which Ryan brought up Kramer's testimony, according to the source. After the conversation, Robbins sent the committee a letter demanding to know why a committee official had shared secret testimony with another lawyer, but instead his client was subpoenaed by House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes to return before the committee on short notice.Leaking testimony to another witness is a violation of committee rules. And the fact that Cohen is alleged to have been the recipient of leaked information raises new questions about whether a key player in the President's orbit received private information about an investigation examining whether the Trump campaign colluded with Russia in the 2016 elections.CNN first reported last month on the accusation that Kramer's testimony had been leaked to another lawyer. The Daily Beast first reported that Cohen's attorney was the recipient of the alleged leak.Kramer was of interest to the committee because of his role connected to the dossier written by Steele, which Nunes and other Republicans have sought to discredit. Kramer, who worked for McCain's think tank at Arizona State University in 2014, met with Steele in 2016. He and McCain then met with a former British ambassador to Russia who worked with Steele, according to UK court filings, and ultimately Kramer worked with Fusion GPS to obtain hard copies of the dossier.Cohen and his attorney did not respond to requests for comment. Robbins also did not respond to a request for comment.Emily Hytha, a spokeswoman for Rep. Mike Conaway, the Texas Republican running the committee's Russia investigation, told the Daily Beast that witness testimony was not shared improperly."Any accusation that a witness's testimony was shared with another witness or their lawyer is unequivocally false," she said. Hytha did not respond to a CNN request for comment.Cohen was interviewed by the House Intelligence Committee last year. But some phone testers claim the new iPhone XS and larger XS Max are easier to break if they are dropped.  A new test from the electronics insurance company SquareTrade is raising questions about that glass and the durability of the new phones.In SquareTrade's drop from 6 feet, (which the insurance company claims simulate the height it would fall from if it slipped while you were talking) the XS screen shattered, resulting in loose and separated glass.A tumble test resulted in hairline cracks and scratches.SquareTrade calls the iPhone XS "high risk" for breakage, much higher than the older iPhone 7's and 8's, which did not have edge-to-edge glass.Others question SquareTrade resultsHowever, other reviewers say these tests may not be that realistic for most people.Apple says the new XS has "the most durable glass ever built into a smartphone."Other testers say unless you are in the NBA, most people don't drop their phones from a 6 foot height.
