BEIJING, Aug. 22 (Xinhua) -- China-Canada relations have met serious difficulties, and the Canadian side is solely responsible for this, a Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson said Thursday.
Xi pointed out that the traditional bilateral friendship is a priceless treasure shared by the two parties, two countries and two peoples, and that to maintain, cement and develop bilateral relations is an unshakable policy of the CPC and the Chinese government.
In his meeting with Timor-Leste's Foreign Minister Dionisio da Costa Babo Soares, Wang said China and Timor-Leste are good partners. In recent years the two countries have actively carried out cooperation on jointly building the Belt and Road, with a number of projects built by Chinese companies benefitting the people's livelihood in Timor-Leste and welcomed by the locals.
Vucic made the remarks on Friday when meeting with visiting vice chairman of China's Central Military Commission, Zhang Youxia.
The revision and formulation of related Party regulations represent the latest achievement in exercising strict governance over the Party since the 18th CPC National Congress, the statement said.
