(KGTV) — San Diego Sheriff's deputies are searching for an 81-year-old at-risk man who disappeared Sunday.SDSO said Kenneth Zimmerman was last seen leaving his Descanso-area home to get the newspaper but did not return. Zimmerman suffers from Alzheimer's disease and high blood pressure.He reportedly did not take his blood pressure medication Sunday morning and is not believed to have the medicine with him. He also doesn't own a cell phone.Zimmerman as last seen driving towards Highway 79 from Viejas Boulevard at about 12:30 p.m. Sunday. He was driving a gold 2006 Toyota Tundra single cab with the CA license plate 8E41946. The truck has a black toolbox in the bed.He is described as a white male, 6-feet 2-inches tall, 190 pounds, and has white hair and blue eyes. PHILADELPHIA, Pa. -- On dueling sides of the street at Philadelphia’s Center City, supporters of President Donald Trump and former Vice President Joe Biden are facing off.“Stop that cheat!” Trump supporters yelled.The epicenter of the vote count in Pennsylvania has been the convention center in Philadelphia, where hundreds of thousands of ballots have been tabulated post-Election Day.“Every vote is sacred!” Biden supporters exclaimed.While there were no reported widespread problems in the state on Election Day, the nonpartisan group “Common Cause Pennsylvania,” said the state could do more to improve on this year’s election.The state legislature previously voted that election officials could not count early and mail-in ballots until Election Day, which delayed results from Pennsylvania. That would be something worth revisiting, Common Cause said.There were also some issues involving people being given provisional ballots – those are the ballots of last resort – when those voters should’ve been allowed to vote using a regular ballot. That was chalked up to an election worker training issue.On top of that, Common Cause Pennsylvania had reports of some people waiting as long as three hours to vote.“That's a barrier, right? People have to work and people have child care, elder care responsibilities,” said Suzanne Almeida, director of Common Cause Pennsylvania. “So, even though vote by mail took a huge burden off that in-person voting, which is fantastic, we're really excited about that, I think there's still more to be done to make sure that that process runs smoothly.”However, there are still a few outstanding issues in Pennsylvania, including those ballots that were post-marked on Election Day, but received after that day, through Friday of that week. PHOENIX — Three people, including two children, have died after being stabbed near 19th and Glendale avenues Sunday morning.Phoenix police say they are conducting a homicide investigation after they found a 7-year old boy, 9-year-old girl and an 18-year-old woman who had been stabbed to death inside of an apartment. PATERSON, N.J. -- A tiny poodle named Bear is clinging to life after being tossed from a vehicle in New Jersey over the weekend, a local shelter said.The Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge described the dog as emaciated and matted when he was found lying in the street "after being discarded like trash," the shelter wrote on Facebook. It appears he suffered "a lifetime of neglect," they wrote.The dog was thrown from a car window around 1:30 p.m. Saturday, near 927 Market St. in Paterson, the social media post said.As of Sunday morning, the poodle was in the intensive care unit at Oradell Animal Hospital in Paramus.The shelter said Bear suffered pelvic fractures, skin lesions from road rash and a possible herniated diaphragm.
