Seven US service members were killed Thursday in a helicopter crash in western Iraq, the US military said.Army Brig. Gen. Jonathan P. Braga, the director of operations for the combined task force leading the fight against ISIS in the region, said all personnel aboard the HH-60 Pave Hawk helicopter were killed.The Defense Department released the names of the seven airmen on Saturday. Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer did not display optimism on Thursday that all sides are close to a deal on a coronavirus stimulus package. His comments come as the Senate adjourned for the week without agreeing to a stimulus bill.Schumer said that negotiations at the White House on Thursday did not include Senate Republicans. Schumer claimed that Senate Republicans aren’t unified, and that McConnell would sink any stimulus plan that doesn’t include liability protection for businesses.“Pres. Some fall sports at colleges in at least one conference will delay all competitions until September 1.The Atlantic Coast Conference announced Thursday the sports of cross country, field hockey, soccer and volleyball will delay their competitive matches for men’s and women’s teams. Typically, exhibition or non-conference games would take place in August.“The decision allows each campus to further focus on ensuring return to competition protocols are in place to facilitate the resocialization process,” the statement reads.The ACC includes Duke, Boston College, University of Notre Dame, Syracuse, Clemson University, FLorida State, University of Louisville, North Carolina State, Wake Forest, Georgia Tech, Miami, North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Pittsburgh, Virginia and Virginia Tech.The statement from the conference makes no mention of other sports, including football. "But here we are in this time where you have to do what you have to do to keep the doors open."Thorn has been collecting art for 25 years, often buying pieces from artists who hold shows in her gallery. While her shop was closed during the Pademic, she made the difficult decision to go through her warehouse and see what she could sell."I got very emotional, and I almost broke down," Thorn says. "We needed to make some very serious decisions on how we're going to keep the doors open.
