CHICAGO, Dec. 18 (Xinhua) -- Chinese and American business leaders and entrepreneurs have been invited to attend events of the China-U.S. Joint Commission on Commerce and Trade (JCCT), an unprecedented move expected to further promote government-business relations between the two countries.

Thorsten Schafer-Gumbel, vice chairman of the SPD, said the SPD hopes to increase mutual trust and exchanges with the CPC, and jointly push forward bilateral pragmatic cooperation in politics, economy, education, science and sustainable development.

SINGAPORE, Nov. 29 (Xinhua) -- A delegation of top business leaders from the elite China Entrepreneur Club visited Singapore on Friday and Saturday to discuss potential cooperation.

China has always opposed proliferation in all forms and conducted international cooperation in this area. China and the U.S. have shared interests and concerns in nonproliferation and kept communication and cooperation in implementing the UN Security Council Resolution 1540, arms export control and regional nonproliferation hotspot issues.

The two sides will also maintain close communication and coordination on major international and regional affairs, the statement said.
