VALLEY CENTER, Calif. (KGTV) — On the heels of several casino reopenings in San Diego County, Harrah's Resort is phasing in hotel guests after it started its reopening process Friday.The casino and resort says it has instituted new policies surrounding cleaning and sanitation and physical distancing to adhere to county guidelines and fight the spread of COVID-19.Changes at the resort include:"All guests will be required to wear their own face mask and will receive temperature checks prior to entering the building All guests must be 21 and older All teammates will wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and will receive temperature checks at the beginning of each shiftProper social distancing must be practiced at all times in all areas of the resort. Security personnel will be prominent throughout the resort to enforce social distancing guidelinesFrequent handwashing and hand sanitizer stations will be available throughout the resortLimited food and beverage offeringsSlot machine banks will be arranged to allow for proper social distancing, as defined by gaming regulationTable games will be limited to a max of three players per blackjack table and four players per roulette" Tuesday, the resort announced that its hotel has reopened with limited room availability. The hotel is also currently only open to those 21 year of age or older. (KGTV) — An East County diagnosed with early dementia disappeared from his home late Friday, sheriff's deputies say.William Cannon, 84, was last seen Friday at about 9 p.m. driving away from his home in a white Toyota Prius. According to Cannon's son, he has been diagnosed with early stages of dementia.Cannon is described as a Caucasian male, standing about 5-foot 10-inches, weighing 150 pounds, with grey hair, and blue eyes. (KGTV) — Cal Fire crew called to the Lawson Valley area to battle a brush fire Thursday.The Skyline Fire sparked in the 17000 block of Skyline Truck Trail just after 12 p.m., according to Cal Fire San Diego. As of 3:02 p.m., the fire had reached 100 acres and was 10% contained, and the forward rate of spread had been stopped.At least one structure was threatened by the fire, firefighters said.As of 6:30 p.m., Cal Fire lifted all road closures and evacuation orders. A temporary evacuation point had been set up at Edwards Cinema at 2951 Jamacha Road in El Cajon, Cal Fire says. 857
