Trip Tik is an interactive road map, and it gives you everything you need to know before you leave home."Dining solutions or dining restrictions in place, face covers if they’re required, national lands or parks are open,” Casselano said.Trip Tik provides updated information for all 50 states. In certain areas of New Mexico, for instance, only tribal members are allowed. In South Dakota, you'll have to fill out a health questionnaire. Upon entering Florida, you'll have to fill out a traveler form. All things you need to know."That’s important information to take into account when you’re traveling,” Casselano said. “COVID has hit every part of the country and you need to understand what’s happening in that locality that you’re traveling to make the best decision.”The map points out hot spots, and number of cases by state and county. So you can make an informed decision about where you're going and where you'll be staying. The interactive map has gotten a lot of web traffic as people start feeling comfortable leaving home.And as you start planning - there's some things you should think about and discuss with your family:-Know where the rest stops are, whether they're open, and whether you'll be comfortable stopping.-Figure out whether restaurants are open, and pack extra food in case of closures.-You'll want an emergency roadside kit.-You'll need a mask, gloves, disinfectant, cleaning supplies for yourself, your family and your car.AAA also recommends making sure your car is in good shape. They've been fielding a lot of dead battery calls from cars that haven't moved during lockdown.“We had a lot of people who weren’t traveling, everyone working from home,” Casselano said. “You have to take care of your cars when that happens so we provided a lot of information and tips to keep your car and battery healthy.”Check on your car, and check your own health before you leave your hometown. 2592

EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - A young trick-or-treater sorting through her candy made a stunning discovery."They were excited. Loved Halloween and candy," said Jean Bilbrey.As with so many other families, Halloween night for the Bilbrey's three children - ages 11,9 and 4 - was a blur of costumes, front doors and a steady flow of treats. Their family started around Falmouth Drive and Virgina Court and walked for several hours, stopping by 30 to 50 homes. In all, they filled about six buckets' worth. This past weekend, the kids went about the task of sorting the candy."My middle daughter, who is nine, said 'Mom, Mom, I found something in my candy' and brought me a ring," said Bilbrey.It was a woman's ring, possibly a precious one. "Looks like a wedding band similar to mine. Possibly an anniversary band ... somebody wears on a hand that means something to somebody ... my first thought was we need to get this back to the owner. As a woman, my jewelry, I don't have much but what I do have is very important to me," said Bilbrey.The piece of jewelry likely slipped off while someone was handing out candy. Like any good mystery, there are a few clues, including the candy found next to the ring. "Candy corn and the Sour Patch candies. That's what she had in her hand was the candy corn," said Bilbrey.Bilbrey spread word of the ring on social media, but so far, she's come up empty."I'll keep it safe. I've got it here. EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) -- The family and friends of the 31-year-old man accused of gunning down his wife and their kids in Paradise Hills over the weekend spoke Monday about the tragedy. Police say Jose Valdivia killed his wife, Sabrina Rosario, and their three children, 3-year-old Enzi, 5-year-old Zuriel, and 11-year-old Zeth. Valdivia also shot his 9-year-old son who survived but is in the hospital on life support. Family and friends say they do not agree with what Valdivia did, adding that they are also grieving the loss of their loved one, his wife, and their children. "We do not agree with what he did but as family and friends, we love him," said close friend Gavino Pinal.His friends called him a loving father and a hard-worker. (KGTV) — A transgender woman is suing an El Cajon gym over the use of gender-specific locker rooms.“My weight went from 340 pounds to 195 pounds,” Christynne Wood said. She says that weight loss is attributed to the water aerobics classes she has been taking at Crunch Fitness for the last eleven years. Not only did it help Wood shed the pounds, she also shed an old identity.“I lived so many years presenting myself as a male. Because I knew that is what was expected of me, and I didn't want to make others uncomfortable. The whole time, Christynne is inside Christopher going ‘I’m suffocating, please don’t let me die,” Wood said. Wood says she has identified as female since childhood. But she did not begin her transition from male to female until July 2016.Just two months after starting hormone therapy, she says a male gym member began to harass her.“The individual comes over to me, and says something untoward, and make a threatening gesture and walks in my direction,” Wood said. Terrified, Wood says she ran out of the men's locker room and told management. At first, she was led to the upstairs men's room, where there were fewer members than the women's facility. But she claims the harassment continued."I still must transit through the place where the assault took place to get to and from the pool for my workouts, so what have you done for me?"Days later, she brought a letter from her endocrinologist, explaining her transition and asking gym staff to accommodate her in the women's locker room. Last February, she legally changed her name and gender. But Woods says it took another seven months for Crunch to finally allow her to use their women's facilities."I thought I had friends in management that so totally understood me. When that was betrayed, how would you feel?"Wood says continued years of alleged harassment and neglect for her well-being led her to sue Crunch Fitness."It makes me cry that it had to get to this degree,” Wood said. “Nobody wants to sue anyone. Nobody does anything or pays attention until somebody hurts or inconveniences them and then they realize the magnitude and depth of what they’ve done wrong.”But she says this civil case is bigger than Christynne Wood.“I’m getting some form of justice, but it’s not just about me. There’s a whole sisterhood out there is being abused and marginalized. I don’t ever want this to happen to any of my T-girl [Transgender-girl] sisters,” Wood said.Crunch Fitness’ corporate office gave 10News a statement after the ACLU announced the lawsuit on Wednesday.  2647
