Nasim Aghdam, the woman accused of shooting and injuring multiple people at YouTube headquarters in San Bruno before turning the gun on herself, drove up from San Diego, according to KRON.Authorities said they believe the incident stemmed from a domestic dispute. KRON reports that the woman shot her boyfriend and that the others injured were caught in the crossfire. Officials in San Bruno said Tuesday afternoon that three people were wounded and the suspect died of a possible self-inflicted gunshot wound.Police were called to the headquarters just before 1 p.m. and were on scene within two minutes.After arriving on scene, officers found a wounded victim outside the building before encountering a second person, who was likely a suspect, shot from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.Officers later found two others wounded in a nearby business, officials said. (KGTV) - Some COVID-inspired creativity from local youth is about to take center stage.Leo Nava, 12, has been drawing since he was six."I love drawing, and it calms me down," said Nava.It's a calm he appreciates amid the unknowns of the pandemic."Sometimes it helps me tell what I'm feeling ... It helps me ignore my surroundings about what's going on in the world, so I don't get as frustrated or stressed," said Nava. He and dozens others have been tapping their pandemic-inspired creativity through online classes at the nonprofit, A Reason To Survive, a creative development program for under-served youth in the South Bay. The voices of the youth are spoken through poignant photographs and original songs, some speaking the isolation so many are feeling. Some youth, like Nava, are drawn to drawings. Themes include superhero medical workers, toilet paper hoarding, beaches and that claustrophobic quarantine feeling.One piece one by Nava shows a red-eyed Nava typing at a computer all day. In another example, Nava sketched a comic strip panel showing an apocalypse."The asteroid hitting the earth represents quarantine. People are scared. Don't know where it came from or what it's doing," said Nava.Those feelings of fear, say the student's teachers, are mixed with anxiety, isolation, hope, joy and heroism — all part of their pandemic experience.The creativity will shine in a virtual exhibition Saturday."The artwork says, 'Hear me. Listen to me. See me.' Their, voice, viewpoints and identity are the things that leap off the page and the music ... (KGTV) -- A man who was apparently shot with an arrow was found dead in National City Monday afternoon.According to National City Police, the incident was reported at around 2:30 p.m. near the 1800 block of Wilson Avenue.After the shooting, the suspect reportedly called police saying he shot an arrow into a man. The suspect told police there was a fight before the shooting.NCPD Captain Alex Hernandez said the suspect showed officers where the victim was located. The victim was found in what appeared to be a homeless encampment and pronounced dead at the scene."We were able to recover the bow and some other items that were nearby as evidence," said Hernandez.Police say a woman who was believed to be with the two men at the time of the shooting was questioned. All three are believed to be transients living in the encampment where the incident took place, police say.While the deceased man was not identified, National City police identified the suspect as 39-year-old Miguel Venegas; he was booked into jail on a suspicion of murder charge. 1080
