"China has already fulfilled its promise to cut carbon emissions by 40 percent to 45 percent compared to the level of 2005, three years earlier than planned," said Ma Aimin, deputy director of the National Center for Climate Change Strategy and International Cooperation under the Ministry of Ecology and Environment.
"China is a big market for us and we can see it becomes more open," said Kamran Vossoughi, Michelin China CEO.
"CMG is open to share its Port-Park-City model experience, the PPC model, which it gained in the 40 years of development of Shekou in Shenzhen. Djibouti is our top priority based on mutual trust. I'm confident that the Port-Park-City model will be successful in Djibouti," he said.
"By 2020, China will abandon the concept of absolute poverty and we will use low-income or minimum insurance to define this," he says. "It also implies that when China enters the high-income stage, the new standard will give us a better idea of how we can invest in human capital and help poor people improve their development ability."
"China is still a developing country and much remains to be desired in infrastructure and other fields. This development stage determines that we must have stable effective investment," Li added.
