Prosecutors say California attorney Michael Avenatti has been rearrested for alleged bail violations. Prosecutors in New York late Tuesday notified a judge that federal authorities in Los Angeles have notified them that Avenatti was arrested in California for alleged violations of the conditions of his pretrial release. Avenatti is scheduled for trial next week in Manhattan federal court. That trial pertains to allegations that he extorted Nike for up to million. He has pleaded not guilty.
