North Korea is getting increasingly angry at the US, as talks are deadlocked and tensions between the two countries are on the rise, a source familiar with the discussions told CNN.US and foreign sources close to the talks paint a picture that's starkly different from the image President Donald Trump sought to convey Wednesday, when he told reporters the administration is "very happy with how it's going with North Korea. We think it's going fine."Trump had been asked about the administration's announcement, in the middle of the night as Tuesday's midterm elections results were coming in, that Secretary of State Mike Pompeo's Thursday meeting with a key aide to North Korean leader Kim Jong Un had been postponed."We're very happy with how it's going with North Korea. NORTH READING, Mass. – An off-duty police officer in Massachusetts is being credited with saving three people from an early morning house fire on Tuesday.The North Reading Police Department says Sgt. Thomas Encarnacao had just finished his shift and was on his way home when he noticed flames emerging from inside the home.After alerting dispatch of the fire, Encarnacao entered the home to alert the residents. He was able to locate a man sleeping on a coach at the front of the house and helped him outside to safety, according to police.The man told Encarnacao and other officers who had arrived to help that there were two more residents in the home, a 13-year-old boy sleeping in a back bedroom and a man in the basement of the home.The man in the basement was able to get out on his own after officers alerted him, but police say first responders had to pull the boy out through a window of a smoke-filled room.All three residents were evaluated by EMS at the scene and didn’t go to the hospital. No firefighters were injured. One officer suffered a cut to his hand while attempting to breach a basement window.Firefighters were able to put the blaze out, but the house ended up sustaining smoke, fire and water damage. Police say the residents were displaced and are being assisted by family members.The origin and cause of the fire is under investigation.“The work of the three officers this morning was truly courageous, and I am incredibly proud of them,” said Police Chief Michael Murphy. “Sgt. Encarnacao took decisive and immediate action, which very likely saved the lives of the residents inside the house. Once he got the first resident out, all three officers went back into the house, without protective gear, to look for additional residents. Their actions to get all of the residents out safely was truly heroic.” 1841

NEW YORK, N.Y. -- A man was found decapitated and dismembered in his Lower East Side apartment Tuesday afternoon, according to the New York Police Department.The man's body was found shortly after 3:30 p.m. in the East Houston Street building, officials said.Police identified the victim as 33-year-old Fahim Saleh, a globe-trotting tech entrepreneur, according to his LinkedIn page.According to a police source, it was the victim's own sister who made the grisly discovery in his luxury apartment.Investigators told WPIX that Saleh's sister found an electric saw, still plugged into the outlet, and her brother's limbs placed in bags.Mitchel Glixon was walking his dog past 265 East Houston around 3 p.m. Wednesday when the woman burst out of the lobby, screaming and crying."She just says 'he has no head' and pointed to her arms and kind of making an arm motion as she went back to the lobby. People kind of surrounded her at that point," Glixon said.Officers said the victim was last seen on surveillance video entering the apartment Monday afternoon; 24 hours later, police dogs searched the surrounding area for clues.Police sources said the surveillance video shows Saleh and a well-dressed man all in black following him into the elevator that goes right to his apartment. It is believed this is when he was attacked.Neighbor Jason Gabriel tried to process the news. "It's a scary time right now. People have pent up anger.
