Xi called for deepening Asia-Africa cooperation, dovetailing their respective developing strategies, beefing up inter-connectivity in infrastructure construction, turning economic complementarity into development drive and building a new cooperation pattern featuring broad spheres, multiple layers and all dimensions.

The spirit has also been guiding countries in Asia and Africa in their steadfast march along a path of peace and friendship, Zhai said.
