BEIJING, Oct. 12 (Xinhua) -- Chinese leaders have sent messages of condolences to Turkey over Saturday's twin blasts in the Turkish capital of Ankara.
He voiced hopes that the legislative bodies of the two countries can enhance exchanges in rule of law, and that British parliamentarians can continue to promote relations with China.
"We do not object non-official trade and culture exchanges between Taiwan and countries or international entities having diplomatic relations with China, but oppose the development of official ties in any form," the spokesperson said.
For his part, Iohannis said his country is a staunch supporter of the four EU-China partnerships, which serve the interests of both sides.
The blast occurred at 11:57 a.m. and caused a fire at a private restaurant in Jinghu District of Wuhu City, the city government said.
