Nomaindiya Mfeketo, deputy minister of International Relations and Cooperation of South Africa, said China and Africa should explore cooperation potentials, expand cooperation fields and build closer their partnership relations, adding that African countries look forward to elevating cooperation with China in industrialization, infrastructure building and agricultural modernization.
"We have seen where to specialize," said Thabo Manyoni, Executive Mayor of South African municipality of Mangaung (Bloemfontein) while noting the contribution of Chinese cities to the industrialization in Africa.
Meanwhile, the statement pointed out that despite not having a finance obligation under the Convention, "developing countries are already making significant contributions towards the global effort through the implementation of climate actions".
