Data crunching firm Palantir Technologies is denying claims made by Cambridge Analytica whistleblower Christopher Wylie that it has links to the controversial company.Wylie, a former contractor for Cambridge Analytica, the firm at the center of a debate over how social media data is used, told a UK parliamentary committee on Tuesday that senior Palantir staff had access to user data gleaned from Facebook."There were senior Palantir employees that were also working on the Facebook data," said Wylie. Cory Gardner, the chair of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said Wednesday that Roy Moore, the Republican candidate for Alabama’s U.S. Senate seat, should drop out of the special election if the allegations he had a sexual relationship with a teen girl are true.The Washington Post broke the story Wednesday that in 1979, Moore—then a 32-year-old district attorney—had a sexual encounter with a girl who was 14 years old at the time.The Post reported that after meeting the girl one day, Moore picked her up days later, took her to a wooded area, kissed her, removed his clothes, and touched her inappropriately.Three other women told The Post Moore had pursued them while he was in his 30s and they were between 16 and 18 years old, though they said no sexual contact occurred.Moore denied the allegations, calling them “completely false” and a “desperate political attack” by the Democratic Party and Washington Post. His campaign said the report was “the very definition of fake news and intentional defamation.”But Colorado's Gardner, who as chairman of the NRSC is in charge of helping elect and re-elect Republicans to the U.S. Senate, appeared to be taking the report seriously.“The allegations against Alabama Senate candidate Roy Moore are deeply troubling,” Gardner said in a prepared statement. “If these allegations are found to be true, Roy Moore must drop out of the Alabama special Senate election.”Gardner, as the NRSC chair, endorsed Moore in late September after he defeated Sen. Gretchen Whitmer announced Thursday a program that will offer essential and frontline workers in the COVID-19 crisis a tuition-free path to community college.According to the governor's office, an estimated 625,000 Michiganders who worked during the Stay Home, Stay Safe orders between April and June are eligible.It was inspired by the GI Bill and will offer Michigan adults without college degrees or high school diplomas the pathway to get additional skills.To be eligible for the program, applicants must:Be a Michigan residentHave worked in an essential industry at least part-time for 11 of the 13 weeks between April 1 – June 30, 2020Have been required by their job to work outside the home at least some of the time between April 1 – June 30, 2020Not have previously earned an associate or bachelor’s degreeNot be in default on a Federal student loanComplete a Futures for Frontliners scholarship application by 11:59 p.m., Dec. 31, 2020Eligible workers can visit www.michigan.gov/Frontliners to explore career opportunities, a list of local community colleges, and begin their application – even if they don’t already have a high school diploma. “This initiative is Michigan’s way of expressing gratitude to essential workers for protecting public health and keeping our state running,” Whitmer said in a release. “Whether it was stocking shelves, delivering supplies, picking up trash, manufacturing PPE, or providing medical care, you were there for us. DETROIT — Tyesha Dukes says her baby boy, Julies, was born in December 2017 but lost him hours later. She says she trusted Perry Funeral Home to bury her son, but never received a death certificate stating where he had been buried.Dukes says once news hit of 11 fetuses being found inside the ceiling of Cantrell Funeral Home, she got worried and called Perry Funeral Home. She placed the call Thursday, the day before the police raid occurred that turned up 63 infant remains and fetuses improperly stored inside the funeral home. “I had called just to see," Dukes said. "If it’s baby bodies at this funeral home, let me call and see if my baby, you know, (is) buried or not." She says that she was assured her baby was buried at Gethsemane Cemetery off of Gratiot in Detroit, but now she is not so sure. “This funeral home is under investigation." Dukes said. "How do I know my baby is not in there thrown to the side?" Detroit Police say they found 37 fetuses and infants inside three unrefrigerated cardboard boxes, and another 27 from a freezer inside Perry Funeral Home Friday afternoon. According to the Michigan Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affair’s Database, and Perry Funeral Home's website, the owner of Perry Funeral Home is James Vermeulen. Vermeulen is also the owner of Vermeulen-Sajewski Funeral homes in Plymouth and Westland. WXYZ received a statement from Vermeulen’s lawyer, Collins Einhorn Farrell law firm based out of Southfield. It states:  1542
