And, that's exactly what Walmart is doing today."The game uses a vibrant carpet mat, which allows for two-way putting, has various scoring sections around the green, and includes negative scores for sand and water hazards. And, you can knock your opponents' ball off the course."It's a great educational tool for math for young kids," Storey said. "And, parents now are having to teach their kids and home school and so forth."But, Storey said the game is great for all ages and all skill levels. And if you’re in the market for a new two-wheeler, it may be months before you can wrap your fingers around some handlebars.Bicycles seem to be everywhere, unless you’re trying to buy one.At Edgebrook Cycle & Sport in Chicago, bikes have become a hot commodity during the pandemic.“It has been off the charts. It's unprecedented,” said owner Jim Kirsten.So much so that there’s a critical shortage, not just in the Windy City, but everywhere.“We have about 10% of our usual inventory and our service work which you see kind of surrounding me here is about 300% where it normally is,” said Kirsten.In fact, bike racks at retail giants like Walmart, Target and Dick’s Sport Goods are almost completely bare.Online vendors like Torrance, California-based Sixthreezero say demand for their bikes has jumped 800%. They’ve had to triple their staff to handle the increased interest.April sales for traditional bikes, indoor bikes, and other accessories grew by 75% compared to the same time last year and reached billion for the first time in a single month.Industry experts say commuters abandoning public transportation, gym closures and the search for socially distanced recreation created a perfect storm.Today’s bike boom, they say, is one not seen since the oil crisis of the early 1970s.“Mid to low price bicycles are just wiped out across the country,” said Jay Townley, a consultant with Human Powered Solutions. Townley spent much of his 60-year career at Schwinn and as president of Giant Bicycle Company.“Along with new bike sales, bicycle repair has skyrocketed. Chad Daybell, the husband of a woman whose children have been missing since September, appeared in court on Wednesday after two sets of human remains were found on his property.During Wednesday's court appearance, prosecutor Rob Wood said the remains were those of 7-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, both of whom have been missing since September.Kay Woodcock, JJ's grandmother, also confirmed to East Idaho News that one set of the remains are those of her grandson's.Police have not yet publicly confirmed the identity of the remains.Daybell faces two counts of evidence destruction, alteration or concealment. His bail was set at million. Should Daybell make bail, he will be required to stay in certain parts of Idaho and will wear an ankle monitor. He also cannot have contact with the families of the victims. Daybell was arrested Tuesday shortly after police served a search warrant on his home in Idaho. Two criminal complaints allege Daybell willfully concealed or aided and abetted in the willful concealment of human remains, "knowing that said human remains were about to be produced, used and/or discovered as evidence in a felony proceeding, inquiry and/or investigation authorized by law, with the intent to prevent it from being so produced, used and/or discovered."Daybell is married to Lori Vallow, the mother of JJ and Tylee. She was arrested in Hawaii in connection with her children's disappearance on Feb. 20 and was extradited back to Idaho. She remained jailed despite several attempts to lower her bond.JJ and Tylee went missing in September, shortly after Daybell and Vallow married. Daybell's former wife, Tammy, died of what was believed to be natural causes shortly before Daybell and Vallow married.
