XI'AN, Aug. 31 (Xinhua) -- Chinese Vice Premier Sun Chunlan has called for the launch of a three-year nationwide campaign to improve prevention and cure of endemic diseases.
The pledge was made as Chinese Premier Li Keqiang held talks with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in The Hague.
Sun also stressed the need to strengthen supervision and regulation over medical work, enhance drug quality control, and support private hospitals.
The vice premier listened to opinions of a group of entrepreneurs and researchers on improving the innovation environment and stimulating initiatives during a symposium, after inspecting some technological innovation-based, middle and small-sized enterprises.
