SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police say they received a call regarding a goat on the loose in the tailgate lot near Petco Park on Sunday.SDPD said a goat was apparently running around the lot sometime before 2 p.m., before the owner of the animal had retrieved the goat and left the area before officers arrived."Officers are responding to reports of a goat running around the area of tailgate lot in downtown. The latest is the owner has the goat and is walking him back to his vehicle saying he was a BAAAAAAAD goat. The owner and his goat left the area prior to police arrival," the department tweeted.The department said a couple of hours later that officers later found the man and his goat elsewhere downtown and learned the goat's name: "Tom Brady." 764

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego's LGBT community center, The Center, says it will not allow armed, uniformed officers at its facility or events.The announcement comes less than a week after San Diego Pride said it would not allow law enforcement to participate in the parade or events.The Center's Board of Directors voted that starting Tuesday, armed, uniformed law enforcement officers will not be allowed at the facility or future events unless its a last resort or true emergency, according to CEO Cara Dessert.RELATED: San Diego Pride: No law enforcement agency contingents in Parade, Festival"This is not about good or bad individual law enforcement officers, but rather a systemic problem in law enforcement that devalues Black lives and creates an environment in which our Black community does not feel welcomed, and in fact strikes fear and trauma," Dessert wrote, in part. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — San Diego Police Saturday honored a local boy who risked his life to save his younger brother from drowning.Police say 10-year-old Ulises Frausto and his 7-year-old brother did not know how to swim when they were in a pool together. The brothers were holding onto the side of the pool when Frausto's brother lost his grip and sunk to the bottom.Despite not knowing how to swim, police say Frausto put his life on the line, swimming to the bottom of the pool to rescue his little brother. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Six robbery suspects were arrested after reportedly assaulting a 14-year-old over a cell phone and leading police on a pursuit late Friday.A 14-year-old boy was walking in the 4400 block of Newport Avenue in Point Loma Heights when a Toyota Rav4 pulled alongside him just before 9:30 p.m., according to San Diego Police.Three suspects, one of whom was armed, got out and demanded the victim's cell phone at gunpoint, police said, before the armed suspect hit the boy over the head with the gun. The suspects then fled the area with the boy's cell phone.Police located the Toyota and tried to pull the vehicle over, prompting the suspects to lead police on a pursuit into the Lincoln Park area. Four juvenile and two adult suspects jumped out of the vehicle at Willie James Jones Ave. and tried to run but were all taken into custody after short foot pursuits, police said. 899
