A Reddit user has created an iPhone shortcut designed to record interactions with law enforcement.The program, called "I'm Getting Pulled Over," automatically turns on an iPhone's camera when the user tells Siri they're being pulled over.Robert Peterson first created the shortcut in 2018, and has since updated the program to include new features. A police official confirmed that 15 adults were shot outside a funeral home on the South Side of Chicago Tuesday evening.The incident took place around 7 p.m. ET. Chicago Police First Deputy Eric Carter said that there was an officer outside the funeral home at the time the incident took place. Carter said that the incident began when a person in a black car began shooting at funeral attendees who were standing along a street. Funeral attendees reportedly began shooting back at the car. A police report provided by the Chicago Police indicated that the vehicle then came to a rest and those in the vehicle fled.One person of interest is being questioned, Carter confirmed. WLS-TV in Chicago reports that 10 women and five men were injured in the shooting. Six of the victims were listed as being in serious condition at local hospitals, the other nine were in good condition.The age range of the victims spanned between 21 and 65. 943

A Pennsylvania woman is mourning the loss of her 12-year-old after claiming that the dog was mauled last week by another dog during a grooming appointment at a PetSmart, WNEP-TV reported. Betty Miller of Scranton told WNEP that after dropping off her dog named Bichon Brewster at PetSmart's grooming salon, she got a call from a veterinarian, who delivered the awful news. Brewster was killed after getting attacked by another dog.After the mauling, Brewster was taken to the Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, but was dead on arrival. The veterinarians told WNEP that it attempted resuscitation, but failed. Now, Miller is wanting answers as to why this happened. "We called corporate," Miller told WNEP. "They did not reach out to us, and I was very angry about that. Why would you want to bring a pit bull past a small dog who's really just bait? A new study about video gamers pretty much shatters the stereotype many people have about them.Researchers at the Queensland University of Technology in Australia conducted what they say is the first study on body mass index from a worldwide sample of e-sports players. What they found surprised even them.“When we went into the study, we were kind of expecting that the gamers would have a much higher BMI than the general population, but what we found was the complete opposite. We found that players tended to have up to 21% more likelihood of being a normal weight,” said lead researcher Michael Trotter.The study included hundreds of participants from 65 countries. It showed gamers were between 9% and 21% more likely to be a healthy weight. Players also drank less and smoked less than the general population.Trotter started the university's e-sports program before he started studying for his PhD. He says he was surprised that serious players focused on their health almost as much as their playing. He says players requested a personal trainer, a dietician, and a sports psychologist.The study also found the healthier players were the better players.“We found that the players who were in the top 10% of all players and we measured up to 2.5 thousand players, it wasn't a small study. We found the top 10% of all players were exercising significantly more than their lower ranked counterparts,” said Trotter.Trotter says the growth of e-sports is huge and future programs will need to look at this study and realize they must focus on the health of players.He also says future research will need to be done on the overall health of e-sports players, such as muscle mass and bone density. 1706
