Glenn Close may have snagged the Golden Globe for best actress in a drama movie and Christian Bale won for best actor in a comedy. But when it came to stealing the show, it was all about a mysterious brunette who you have almost certainly never heard of.Wearing a deep blue evening dress, the initially unidentified woman managed to make herself known to the paparazzi at Sunday's award ceremony by photobombing almost every red carpet shot -- appearing behind just about everyone from Nicole Kidman and Jamie Lee Curtis to Idris Elba and Richard Madden. She also stole the spotlight from the likes of Jim Carrey, Dakota Fanning and Camilla Belle.Later revealed as an LA-based model, Kelleth Cuthbert pulled off the brazen publicity stunt by continuously posing with a tray of bottles of Fiji Water intended for the thirsty guests. And it was not just a case of standing demurely in the background. Instead Cuthbert, who originally hails from Toronto, made a point of staring into the camera and grabbing the global limelight. At the start of the night, she posted a picture of herself on Instagram, captioning it: "Not the worst way to spend a Sunday... #goldenglobesfijigirl #fijiwatergirl"Pictures of the model quickly went viral, with a host of memes and even a spoof Twitter account appearing within hours.Fiji Water, which sponsored the award ceremony, later tweeted: "We're so glad everyone is talking about our water!"*senses ominous presence*"She's right behind us, isn't she? #FIJIwatergirl" 1509

FRANKLIN, Wisconsin — Quick thinking by staff and students at a Wisconsin high school helped to save a student experiencing a medical emergency. It happened the morning of Jan. 2 at Franklin (Wisconsin) High School on the first day back from winter break.Social Studies Teacher Ryan DePouw, had just given his students time to work on a project when one of them started to gasp and fall from his chair.DePouw quickly went to the back of the room to keep the student upright and assess the situation. "Checking for breathing and pulse, trying to figure out I guess what was happening,” DePouw said. At the same time, his other students ran for help."Knew right where the emergency response button was,” DePouw said. “Pushed the button."Within seconds, the school's Emergency Response Team of trained administrators, office staff and teachers, took over, and DePouw ran to get an AED.“Opened the door, grabbed the AED and booked it back to the classroom,” DePouw said. The group switched between doing CPR on the student and using the AED on him. Others researched the student’s medical history and took notes.District Nurse Lori O’Neil, who trains the team, also came to help."Every single person played a role,” O’Neil said. Paramedics soon arrived and took the student to the hospital.O’Neil said they now know the student had a sudden cardiac arrest, with no prior medical history. He's doing well and she said that's because of the efforts made by staff and students."Every minute that goes by in a cardiac arrest without defibrillation, the chance of survival decreases by 10 percent,” O’Neil said. "Their actions absolutely saved the student's life."The family did not want to do an on-camera interview, but they wrote in a letter that they thank the school "for helping [their son] fight for his life.”The staff and emergency responders that helped care for the student will be honored at the district board meeting on Jan. 29 at 6:00 p.m. at the Franklin Education and Community Center District Office. 2019

He was sent to jail for 10 days because he overslept and failed to return to court for his jury service. On Friday, the West Palm Beach, Florida, 21-year-old man was able to fill an entire courtroom of family of friends to show the judge another side of him. DeAndre Somerville read a letter to the court reiterating his apology for what he did. He called his punishment a long traumatic 10 days in jail, something he would not wish upon his worst enemy. "This was an immature decision that I made and I paid the price for my freedom," said Somerville in open court in a letter to the judge. The 21-year-old made it clear to the judge that 652
