Ready for a blast from the past?New Kids On The Block announced a tour that will take you back to the 80s. The Mixtape tour will feature special guests Salt N Pepa, Tiffany, Debbie Gibson and Naughty By Nature.The tour will kick off May 2, 2019, in Cincinnati and hit 53 cities throughout the country during the summer of 2019.The tour wraps up in Hollywood, California on July 14.Tickets start at .95 and will go on sale Friday, Oct. 12 at 10 a.m. To celebrate the tour, New Kids On The Block released a new song "80s Baby" featuring the guests on the tour. Rap artist Hurricane Chris has been arrested on a murder charge in Louisiana. Shreveport Police say the rapper was arrested Friday after an early-morning shooting at a gas station. In a news release, police say the rapper claimed self-defense after shooting a man he thought was trying to steal his car. But they say video footage appears to show otherwise, and the car was reported as stolen from Texas. Online jail records don't indicate if he has an attorney who can speak on his behalf. The 31-year-old rapper is known for the hit “A Bay Bay.” His real name is Christopher Dooley Jr., and he is from Shreveport. 623

Publix has announced they have purchased then donated more than 5 million pounds of produce and 350,000 gallons of milk to food banks across the southeast.The supermarket chain said in a press release that the initiative, which was launched back in April, was set up to support local farmers and help feed families through the Feeding America member food bank.“During these challenging times, we remain committed to working together to find the solutions that positively impact our communities in need, Publix CEO Todd Jones said in the release. "We are honored to continue our support of Feeding America member food banks and to purchase produce and milk from farmers across the Southeast. As the harvest season moves north, so is our initiative, expanding to support additional farmers and serve as many people as possible.”The company said they have purchased producers from farmers in Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, and North Carolina and will start working with farmers in Tennessee and Virginia in the coming weeks.During the pandemic, the grocery chain said they had donated million to Feeding America and its member food banks. 1149
