BALTIMORE, Md. – Sunday’s NFL game between the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers has been postponed again due to a coronavirus outbreak. The NFL confirmed Friday afternoon that the Week 12 game has been moved to Tuesday, Dec. 1 and it will begin at 8 p.m. EST on NBC. This is the second time the game has been postponed. They were supposed to play Thursday night, but the game was moved to Sunday after an initial wave of players tested positive for the virus. Quarterback Lamar Jackson was among the infected players, The Baltimore Sun and ESPN report. If the game is able to be played on Tuesday, the NFL says the Week 13 game between the Dallas Cowboys and the Ravens that was originally scheduled for Thursday, Dec. 3, will be moved to Monday, Dec. 7 at 5 p.m. EST.“These decisions were made out of an abundance of caution to ensure the health and safety of players, coaches and game day personnel and in consultation with medical experts,” said the NFL in a statement.Schedule update: Ravens-Steelers moved to Tuesday at 8 pm ET on NBC. pic.twitter.com/TCP39qkW3O— Michael Signora (@NFLfootballinfo) November 27, 2020 1136

Brunch can be a big draw for many restaurants, including at Sam’s No. 3 Diner in Denver, where the wait time to be seated on weekends could take up to two hours.“It gets crowded on that sidewalk out there,” said owner Sam Armatas.Pre-pandemic, Armatas says the iconic downtown diner had more than 180 seats. Now, with new health restrictions, that number has been cut to 83.“Business has been affected greatly,” Armatas said. “It’s a different world, it’s a different way to operate, and it’s a different way to serve.”Less seating means less opportunities to make money which led management at Sam’s to look outside their restaurant to serve more customers.“I kind of just looked over at my neighbor and thought, ‘hey, they’re not using that patio during the day. Maybe I can use that patio during the day,’” Armatas said. “So, I got in contact with Matt.”Matt Ruff is the general manager and part owner of Dazzle, one of the top 100 jazz clubs in the world.“It’s kind of foolish not to lend our neighbors a hand during this time,” Ruff said.Ruff is lending Dazzle’s outdoor patio space to Sam’s during the day for free, a move customers seem to appreciate while industry experts are calling it a financial Band-Aid.According to the National Restaurant Association, somewhere between 15,000 to 20,000 restaurants across the country closed their doors for good during this pandemic.Experts expect that number to increase nationwide as an estimated 8,000,000 American service industry workers are already out of jobs.“We’re monthly doing the revenue we would do on a good Saturday,” Ruff said. “How do you survive with doing something like that?”So far, this partnership with Dazzle and Sam’s sharing space seems to be working out well for both businesses.“It’s been awesome,” Armatas said. ”It’s an additional 12 to 15 seats that we didn’t have before.”The plan is to continue sharing this space until these establishments are able to operate at full capacity or the weather no longer allows for outdoor seating. 2020

BRUSSELS (AP) — European lawmakers say that plant-based products that do not contain meat can continue to be labeled “sausages” or “burgers.” The EU parliament on Friday rejected proposals backed by meat industry lobbyists that could have led to a ban on the terms. The decision means veggie burgers, soy steaks and vegan sausages can continue to be sold as such in restaurants and shops. Europe’s largest farmers' association wanted to ban the terms, arguing that labelling vegetarian substitutes with words that bring meat to mind was misleading consumers. Those against banning the terms say they help promote environmental policies by improving the vegetarian products' marketing. 692

Boeing has unveiled its newest line of business jets, which the company says will allow VIP travelers to fly nonstop between "any two cities on Earth."The BBJ 777X planes will have a range of 11,645 nautical miles (21,570 km), enabling them to offer the longest commercial flight in the world.Depending on which routes the jets are used on, the new models mean Boeing could wrestle the crown for farthest nonstop travel away from Airbus.Earlier this year, Singapore Airlines resumed its 17-hour flights between London and Singapore on Airbus A350-900 ULR (Ultra-Long Range) jets. But the distance traveled on the record-breaking flights is a mere 9,000 nautical miles (16,700 kilometers), putting it below the range Boeing's new jets are capable of.The planes "can fly more than halfway around the world without stopping, farther than any business jet ever built," the company said in a statement."Our most exclusive customers want to travel with the best space and comfort and fly directly to their destination. The new BBJ 777X will be able to do this like no other airplane before it, redefining ultra-long range VIP travel," Greg Laxton, head of Boeing Business Jets, added at the Middle East Business Aviation Association Show (MEBAA).The jets could be used to connect New York City with Perth in Western Australia, a journey which currently requires a connection and takes more than a day to make. Two versions of the jets have been made, the BBJ 777-8 and 777-9, with the latter offering a slightly shorter range of 11,000 nautical miles (20,370 kilometers) but boasting a larger cabin. The company has released renderings of the plane's interior, although it has not sold any of the planes yet.Other business jets produced by Boeing include the BBJ MAX and high-performance versions of its 787 Dreamliner.Since forming in 1996, Boeing Business Jets has delivered 234 jets on 261 orders. 1909

BALTIMORE (KGTV) - A former television producer for “The Jerry Springer Show” was arrested in Maryland Thursday for the death of her sister in Los Angeles.Baltimore Police took Jill Blackstone into custody on suspicion of murder and animal cruelty at Johns Hopkins Hospital. Police did not reveal if Blackstone was a patient.According to Los Angeles Police, Blackstone put her sister Wendy, 49, and two dogs in a garage in Los Angeles and set the building on fire in March 2015. LAPD investigators said Blackstone wanted to make Wendy’s death look like an accident.Blackstone was motivated by the emotional and financial hardship of taking care of her sister, who was deaf and partially blind, investigators said.Baltimore Police said Blackstone will be sent back to Los Angeles to face charges.Blackstone worked as a producer on programs including “Family Court with Judge Penny”, the Daily News reported. The Associated Press contributed to this report. 962
