SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police announced Wednesday the arrests of two young men on suspicion of burglaries in Scripps Ranch and La Mesa.Joshua Guillen, 22, and Daniel Gomez, 18, were identified through photo recognition and D.N.A. evidence, police said.The Scripps Ranch burglary happened at a home on Red Cedar Dr. in May. 10News spoke with the homeowner, Bob Arban, who said he received an alert on his phone, indicating someone inside his home.RELATED: Owner watches burglary live on surveillance cameraSeveral items were stolen before police arrived.  Arban's home surveillance video was used to track down the suspects.Police said Guillen and Gomez were also identified in another residential burglary in La Mesa.  762

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego police are searching for a woman they have identified as a person of interest in a recent homicide case in the Talmadge area.Police believe 25-year-old Sheila Camarena may be linked to a deadly shooting that occurred on Sept. 18, in the 4400 block of Euclid Avenue.According to police, in the early morning hours of Sept. 18, officers responded to a reported shooting in which a 33-year-old Black man was injured.The victim was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. He was identified by police as Mychael Farve.A witness said the suspected shooter may have fled the scene in the victim’s vehicle, but police did not verify the witness’ statement.Camarena is Hispanic, 5 feet 5 inches tall, and weighs 170 pounds. She has black hair and brown eyes, but police noted Camarena is known to dye her hair blonde and/or red.According to police, Camarena is considered armed and dangerous.Anyone with information on her whereabouts or the Sept. 18 case is urged to contact Crime Stoppers at 888-580-8477.Crime Stoppers is offering a reward of up to ,000 for information that leads to an arrest in the case. 1153

SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- San Diego Police are investigating after a 16-year-old was shot and killed in Lincoln Park Saturday night.Police responded to the 4900 block of Magnus Way around 10:20 p.m. after receiving reports of gunfire.When they arrived, officers found the teen in a driveway with a single gunshot wound. The 16-year-old was taken to the hospital where he was later pronounced dead, police say. Police say the teen has been identified, but his name isn’t being released at this time. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- Rancho Bernardo High School briefly went on “secure campus” Monday morning after receiving an anonymous threat.According to the school, employees received an email threatening violence against the campus around 9:30 a.m. Monday. The threats weren’t specific to Rancho Bernardo High School, according to a letter sent to parents.Employees notified police, who had officers on campus within a few minutes. The email prompted the school to go on “secure campus” for about 30 minutes, meaning students remained in their classrooms.RELATED: Threatening message found at Monte Vista High School, prompting heightened securityPolice later determined that the campus was safe, but maintained a presence at the school throughout the day.It wasn’t immediately clear if any arrests have been made. 819
