The prime minister said Vietnam especially thanks the Chinese government for its important contribution to the Lancang-Mekong cooperation and its strong support to relevant countries.
The current regulation was last amended in 2012, and the revised one will enter into force as of Sept. 1.
"China is ready to work closely with Vietnam to make the land boundary a peaceful and friendly one for cooperation, common development and prosperity," Wang added.
"If the United States goes like this way, then any country can take similar measures against any U.S. company on the grounds of national security. The United States must not open Pandora's box, or it will suffer the consequences," Wang said.
China should be fully aware of both the increasingly complicated external environment and its distinctive advantages, staying strategically focused and preparing for a "protracted war," said Wang.
