At the opening ceremony of the Paris climate summit, President Xi Jinping said China will, on the basis of technological and institutional innovation, adopt new policy measures to improve the industrial mix, build a low-carbon system, develop green buildings and low-carbon transportation and establish a carbon-emission trading market.

China also actively promoted multilateral cooperation, in complementary to the China-Afghanistan bilateral cooperation.

Xi asked officials to uphold and implement the newly identified development concepts -- innovation, coordination, green development, opening up and sharing -- to support economic and social development.

He revealed that both Arab and Chinese sides will sign memorandums of understanding on cooperation in the fields of atomic energy and satellite navigation, noting China is advanced in these fields where it welcomes joint cooperation with Arab partners.

The first is cooperation in raising the voice of peace and common development, as he said "the media personnel has a role in directing the public opinion and upholding the peace norms at wider range, and to positively enhance consensus in views and increase the positive energy towards peaceful development."
