Two SWAT team members in Florida have reportedly been suspended for choosing to respond, without permission, to a shooting at a high school in Florida where 17 people tragically lost their lives.According to the Florida Sun-Sentinel, two Miramar, Florida, SWAT team members were on duty, in the area at the time of the shooting. The SWAT officers chose to respond to the school, despite not having been told to. According to the Miramar Police Department, their decision, "created an officer safety issue and left them unaccountable for their actions," the Sun-Sentinel reports. Detective Jeffrey Gilbert and Detective Carl Schlosser were notified of their suspension on February 22, the newspaper reports. They were instructed to turn in their SWAT-issued rifles immediately. Tumblr said in a statement to The Verge that the decision to ban adult content did not stem from that incident.Tumblr's new policy bans "explicit sexual content" and most instances of nudity. The site added that nudity "found in art," as well as nudity in the context of health-related situations and in the context of political protest or newsworthy events would still be permitted.Tumblr also says that written erotica will still be permitted on the site.After Dec. 17, any explicit content flagged by algorithms will be hidden from public view but not deleted from the site. Update: Police said the child admitted the story was a hoax.SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - San Diego Police warned the public Thursday about a kidnapping attempt in City Heights.A man drove up next to the child in the 2700 block of Violet Street about 1 p.m. The location is near Azalea Park and Manzanita Canyon, and several blocks from True Faith Missionary Baptist Church.The man was in a paneled work van with no side windows other than the passenger and driver’s windows.The child’s family reported the incident by driving to the Mid-City Police Substation on Landis St.Police did not provide details of the kidnapping attempt, or further information about the young victim.The man was described as white and possibly in his 40s. 735
