After a whirlwind 2019 for James Holzhauer, he along with two other past Jeopardy champs have been invited back to participate in an ultimate showdown to decide who is the "Greatest of All Time."Holzhauer will be joined by Ken Jennings, who owns Jeopardy's longest winning streak at 74 games. They will be opposed by Brad Rutter, who has won the most money in Jeopardy history due to his number of tournament wins. Rutter first appeared on Jeopardy in 2000, when Jeopardy limited returning champions to five games. Rutter has since won a number of major Jeopardy tournaments, including the Ultimate Tournament of Champions.Rutter has the distinction of being the only Jeopardy contestant to go undefeated against human competition (Rutter and Jennings both lost to an IBM computer in a special competition). Holzhauer won 32 matches in a row and won the 2019 Tournament of Champions.Unlike new episodes of Jeopardy which are syndicated, these episodes will air on ABC during primetime. The competition is being held amid host Alex Trebek's battle with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer. The format will be a multi-, consecutive-night event, with the first contestant to wins three nights being declared the champion. Each night's competition will consist of two standard games. Here is the schedule:· TUESDAY, JANUARY 7 (8-9 p.m. EST)· WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 8 (8-9 p.m. EST)· THURSDAY, JANUARY 9 (8-9 p.m. EST)· *FRIDAY, JANUARY 10 (8-9 p.m. EST)· *TUESDAY, JANUARY 14 (8-9 p.m. EST)· *WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 15 (8-9 p.m. EST)· *THURSDAY, JANUARY 16 (8-9 p.m. EST)*If necessary.“Based on their previous performances, these three are already the ‘greatest,’ but you can’t help wondering: Who is the best of the best?” host Alex Trebek said. 1735
An American, who left the U.S. two weeks ago to climb Machu Pichu in Peru, says he can’t return home. Husband and father, Chris McLeroy, left on March 13, and due to travel bans implemented in efforts to curb the COVID-19 outbreak, he says he can’t get back to America or even across the border to get a flight home.“We are told we are not allowed back into the U.S because the borders of Peru have been closed, and so there is no travel between the regions,” he said.Meanwhile, over 4,000 miles away, his wife and son are forced to wait.“We all have our moments of sad and worry,” said McLeroy’s wife, Jodi. “I have to hide all that because I don’t want my son to see it. I want him to feel safe.”Every day, Jodie McLeroy is working with local officials, including her U.S senator, desperately trying to get her husband home. The couple is trying not to lose hope. “It’s certainly creating an anxiety not being able to be there with my family going through this,” Chris McLeroy said.He says he needs transportation to the nearest airport, but the roads are blocked.“It’s going to take the U.S. government to make that arrangement to get them to the airport,” he said. But, the question is, when will that happen?“I have faith he will make it home,” Jodie McLeroy said. “I just don’t know when.” 1305

A newly released batch of emails and text messages shows Boeing employees raising doubts among themselves about the safety of the 737 Max and talking about hiding problems from regulators. The documents, which were turned during a Congressional investigation, came to light Thursday, nearly 10 months after the aircraft was grounded over two catastrophic crashes. The names and titles of the employees who sent messages are redacted, but the letters paint a picture of the toxic culture inside Boeing throughout the 737 Max scandal."This airplane is designed by clowns, who in turn are supervised by monkeys," one message in April 2017 read, according to 666
