SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Police are searching for a reported bank robbery suspect in the Mission Valley area late Friday.A bank robbery was reported at the US Bank location at Frazee Road just before 5 p.m., according to San Diego Police. At one point, SWAT officers were called in to assist.SDPD initially reported that shots were fired inside the bank based on accounts from "scared employees" but later confirmed no shots had been fired. Police are currently searching for a suspect. No injuries have been immediately reported. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - National Guard troops have not been at the border for too long, but are already making their presence felt.Border Patrol officers last week arrested a 31-year-old woman on Interstate 15 they say was transporting 51 bundles of methamphetamine in her vehicle.The woman's vehicle was transported to a Border Patrol facility where agents continued searching the vehicle with the help of National Guardsman who have recently been deployed to the border.RELATED: Border Patrol officials discuss National Guard deployment to US-Mexico borderDuring the secondary search, agents initially did not locate any additional narcotics, officials said.
