Watts gave an interview to Denver7’s Tomas Hoppough on Tuesday, a day after the three were reported missing. In the interview, he tells a detailed version of what he claims happened when Shanann and their daughters Bella and Celeste went missing, including that he and his wife “had an emotional conversation” before he allegedly last saw her.“I mean, she wasn’t here. The kids weren’t here. Nobody was here,” Watts claimed. He also made a direct plea for Shanann and the girls to come home.“Shanann, Bella, Celeste: If you’re out there, just come back. Like if somebody has her, just bring her back. I need to see everybody. … This house is not complete without anybody here. Please bring ‘em back,” he said. You can watch the full interview by clicking here or in the player embedded below. 804

Two officers with the Salt Lake City Police Department were the first to arrive on the scene. They jumped into the canal’s murky water to rescue the trapped children from the almost fully submerged car.“With no thought to personal safety, officers immediately stripped their gear and attempted a daring rescue of these two children,” Chief Mike Brown said in a statement. “It was dark. The water was cold. But these officers did not hesitate to come to the aid and work to save lives. I am proud of them.”Justin Bates and the two-year-old were both taken to Primary Children's Hospital in critical condition. Justin died of his injuries Monday morning. The younger child was in critical condition Sunday. Investigators believe speed was the ultimate factor in this crash. It is unlikely the driver will face any criminal charges. The speed limit for that section of road is 30 miles per hour. This story originally reported by John Franchi and David Wells on fox13now.com. 972
What I saw was that the driver -- he didn't look like he was bleeding, said Cruz. "He was dragging his foot. He looks frustrated, panicked, confused. People are running past me, saying, 'He's got a gun. He's got a gun.' I didn't see any gun. 241
