In the latest scathing allegation against the Catholic church, Pennsylvania's attorney general said the Vatican knew about a cover-up involving sex abuse allegations against priests. "We have evidence that the Vatican had knowledge of the cover-up," Attorney General Josh Shapiro told NBC's "Today" show Tuesday.He later told CNN's Wolf Blitzer, "Once the Vatican learned of it, I do not know if the Pope learned about it or not."The accusation comes two weeks after the release of a grand jury report saying hundreds of "predator priests" had abused children in six Pennsylvania dioceses over the past seven decades.Shapiro did not specify Tuesday what evidence he has that would suggest the Vatican knew of a cover-up."The only documents which are public are in the report itself, including the references to the Vatican's knowledge," Shapiro's spokesman Joe Grace said."All else remains sealed through the grand jury process."Vatican spokesman Greg Burke said the Vatican would need to learn more details about the evidence before commenting.Shapiro said the grand jury's lengthy investigation into abuse by priests also revealed a widespread cover-up "that went all the way to the Vatican.""This coverup served a very specific purpose," Shapiro told CNN."It was not only to cover it up within the parishes, within the churches. Investigators have found evidence that a missing University of Iowa student was doing homework on her laptop the night she went missing, according to the woman's brother.Mollie Tibbets, 20, went missing on July 18 when she went jogging near Brooklyn, Iowa. TIbbets' brother, Jake, says investigators found that evidence that she was on her laptop that evening.The older brother of 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts says investigators told him evidence shows she was doing homework on her computer last Wednesday evening. Tibbets was reportedly dog-sitting for her boyfriend, Jack Dalton, at the time of her disappearance. It is unclear if she returned after her jog, but the new details, family members say it is possible she did. Investigators previously executed a search warrant for Tibbits' Fitbit and social media accounts. A spokesperson for the Iowa Department of Criminal Investigations said Tibbets' case may be the first time Fitbit data has been used in an investigation in the state.  1043

INDIANAPOLIS -- A man's quick reaction spared him from serious injury or even death after a chunk of concrete was thrown from an overpass on I-465 and shattered his windshield.Alan Cox was driving his Honda SUV on I-465 northbound Wednesday afternoon. He said he saw three men on the overpass as he approached the Pendleton Pike exit. Cox said he could tell they were up to no good, especially when he noticed one throwing something into moving traffic and in his direction."I knew he was going to throw something so I veered to the left a little. He nailed me. If I veered over to the left -- dead center to the chest," Cox said.A chunk of concrete hit Cox's windshield on passenger side and left the interior of his SUV covered in glass"People get killed.
