According to San Diego Police, the woman’s body was found Saturday at an unspecified time near a hiking trail in Tecolote Canyon Park. Police believe the woman was in her mid to late 20s. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - One of four teenagers accused of fatally beating a man near Petco Park was charged Tuesday with murder and torture.San Diego Police said Dominick Wells, 19, and three juvenile females aged 14, 15 and 17 attacked Edward Starland near a bridge behind the ballpark the afternoon of Nov. 18.Witnesses said Starland had been fighting with the group before he was thrown to the ground and beaten. The group ran off down Imperial Avenue. Starland’s sister Catherine flew to San Diego from Florida to be by his side when he was on life support in the hospital. She said her brother had a heart condition and a pacemaker, and didn’t know why anyone would attack him."I came here for my brother because I don't want him to be alone. I want him to know I'm by his side; when he wakes up he knows I'm here,” she said. Starland, 56, died of his injuries Dec. 3.Police later arrested the teens. Wells is currently being held on a first-degree murder charge at San Diego Central Jail. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — Now that the Democratic Party has officially backed Joe Biden and Kamala Harris, it’s time for the Republican National Convention. The four-night convention begins with a roll call on Monday evening from delegates who take turns stating their pick for the nominee. California Republican National Committeewoman and Delegate to Republican National Convention Harmeet Dhillon said they are expecting a unanimous vote for President Trump and VP Mike Pence.Then, top republicans and citizens will speak through the next few nights. President Trump is expected to speak Thursday evening, but the schedule also shows he will be in the program to some capacity every evening.This would typically be a time when hundreds from California attend, but with coronavirus restrictions, that’s not possible this year. Dhillon said California would typically have 170 delegates, an equal number of alternates and guests, but that number has dwindled to just 6 for 2020. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - Neighbors in College Area are a little more vigilant after a coyote attacking a chicken was caught on camera. Matt Dixon was grilling in his backyard when he heard squawking on the neighboring hillside. “One of the chicken flies into the fence,” said Dixon describing the video he took. “That’s when the coyote popped out of the clearing it there and made its way up and he eventually found what he was after.” Dixon posted the 28-second video online and found that people were quicker to forgive the coyote. “I got a lot of flak for not trying to help save the neighbor’s chicken and I can understand that,” said Dixon, “but it all happened so fast.” Other neighbors say they are more cautious with their children and pets outside knowing there can be coyotes in an urban area. 805

Alysa Dale says the multi-million dollar mansion was the scene of a violent party packed with teenagers over the weekend. Amid the chaos, Dale says her 18-year-old daughter was brutally attacked. “Physically she’s fine, but mentally she’s broken. I have a broken child right now,” Dale said. It was a scene.” She says the party was promoted on Snapchat. Hundreds of people paid each to get in.
