During an Election Day appearance on Fox & Friends, President Donald Trump remained tight-lipped on reports that he would declare victory in the 2020 presidential race even if a significant portion of votes remained uncounted in key swing states.When asked when he would deliver a victory speech, Trump said simply, "when there's victory.""We won't play games," Trump said.The comments come days after Axios reported that three of Trump's confidants believe the President will deliver a victory speech "if it looks like he's 'ahead.'" Trump has also hinted at rallies that Republican lawyers will flood several key swing states with lawsuits in order to prevent some votes from being counted after Election Day.During his interview Tuesday, Trump decried a recent Supreme Court decision that upheld some state-imposed rules that allowed some state election boards to continue counting votes following Election Day.He also said it would be "bad for our country" if Americans don't know the outcome of the presidential election by Tuesday night or early Wednesday morning.While analysts can often make a projection about the outcome of the race on Election Night, that doesn't mean election boards stop counting ballots. It typically takes several days for ballots to be counted and a week or two for the results of an election to be verified.This year, it will likely be much harder for analysts to make a projection about the presidential race due to a high number of mail-in ballots. In some states, like the key swing state of Pennsylvania, poll workers cannot begin processing mail-in votes until the morning of election day. EL CAJON (KGTV) -- Authorities are working to clear a fuel spill Sunday afternoon after a small plane crashed landed onto a quiet El Cajon neighborhoodThe plane crashed sometime around 2 p.m. at 2nd Street and El Rey in El Cajon.The pilot was en route to Gillispie Field, a little more than a mile from where it crashed.Authorities say two people were on board the aircraft but suffered no injuries.There was a small fuel leak following the crash and the plane knocked down some wires when it crash landed.  Police are asking the public to avoid the area until about 4 p.m. Sunday.This is a developing story.  Stay with 10News for updates. 687

EL CAJON, Calif. (KGTV) - City leaders in El Cajon want to add harsher penalties to punish stores that sell tobacco products to underage customers.Current law says stores cannot sell tobacco or nicotine related products to anyone under the age of 21.Under El Cajon's current Tobacco Retail License statute, any store caught selling will face either a fine or a 30 days suspension of their license for the first offense.A second offense brings a 90-day suspension. The third offense bumps that up to a year. If a store is caught selling to underage customers four times in five years, their license gets revoked.But some city leaders feel that's not harsh enough."I think that they looked at the ,000 fine and said that's just the cost of doing business," says City Councilman Gary Kendrick. "I think it's greed. These stores are profiting from the future suffering of our children, and I am going to stop it."Kendrick wants to make the first offense a 90-day suspension and raise the fine. He also wants more enforcement.The move comes after 15 stores got citations during enforcement stings during the spring. That's a big spike from previous years where as few as one store was cited.Of the 15 stores cited, eight are filing appeals. Six paid the fine for the first offense, and one store took a 90-day suspension for a second offense."This is a huge problem," says Kendrick.But store owners say more punitive penalties are not the solution."Is that going to solve the problem? I don't think so," says Isam Habib who owns the Ranch Liquor store on Washington Avenue."What can you do? When you have to hire employees in and out, and they're young, you train them, you teach them, and they make a mistake," he says.Habib says store owners don't think they should lose a large chunk of their business for one mistake."We just gotta check the IDs," he says. On Christmas eve, two El Cajon police officers didn’t hesitate to buy dinner for a family living in their car. While always ready to respond to calls, officers never know exactly what they'll find. On this Christmas Eve call, they found a woman named Juanita and her two children, living in their car. Detective Travis Howard is President of the El Cajon Police Officers Association. He says the officers bought the family dinner at Jack in the Box and then closed the call. But after their shift, they wanted to do more, dipping in their own pockets to get the family a hotel room for two nights so they wouldn't be homeless on Christmas. The two police officers who first helped the family didn’t do it for the praise and asked to remain anonymous. 859
