and a shoe, according to court documents. The Marion County Prosecutor's Office released the probable cause charging documents Wednesday, which detail the argument that escalated into a domestic violence incident July 5. Court documents allege Portwood and her boyfriend, Andrew Glennon, were going to see fireworks with their 1-year-old son at Geist Bridge when they got stuck in traffic and she became angry. The boyfriend told police that he dropped Portwood off at their home so she could "cool off" and took their son for a drive. When he returned home he said Portwood attacked him with a shoe so he left the house again. About three hours later, the boyfriend told police he came back home with a gift and food for Portwood and she came at him again while he was holding their son. In those court documents, the boyfriend claims Portwood threatened to kill herself and grabbed a handful of Klonopin and "tossed it back like it was nothing." When the boyfriend threatened to call for help she "regurgitated the pills."After that incident, the boyfriend claims Portwood came at him with a machete and he locked himself and their son into another room. He called for help as Portwood began hitting the door with the machete and kicking it until she broke the handle. Portwood broke down before police arrived and they had to call for backup after she began yelling at the officer. Portwood denied the incident with the pills and the machete but admitted to hitting her boyfriend while he was holding their son. 1517

in the Tonto Basin area around 4 p.m. on Friday. According to the Gila County Sheriff's Office, two of the three children reported missing were located around 8:45 a.m. and 11:15 a.m. Saturday. The children were reportedly located separately about three miles downstream. A GCSO spokesperson said during an afternoon press conference that one of the children found dead was a child of the parents in the vehicle, and that the other child was a niece. The man and woman are parents to four of the seven children that were in the vehicle, officials said.GCSO said the military-style vehicle had been found late Friday night, but the three missing children were not inside. 673

Diane Bailey said a misunderstanding led to her grandson having his lunch taken away in front of his classmates.Jefferson Sharpnack turned 9 years old on Tuesday and said what happened in the lunchroom made it his worst birthday ever.“I got my cheesy breadsticks and put in my number,” Jefferson said, “And when I was going to check out, the lunch lady didn’t say anything, took away my cheesy breadsticks and sauce, put them over there, and took out bread on cheese from the fridge and put it on my tray.”Jefferson came home from school on Friday, Aug. 30 with a note stating he owed for his lunch account. His grandmother said she called the school first thing the following week to straighten things out. She thought her grandson was now in good standing with the school.Jefferson and his two brothers moved to Ohio last month to live with their grandmother. The children are supposed to be enrolled in the free and reduced lunch program.Bailey said she was told by administration there that she could write a check for her grandson’s lunch balance until the free and reduced lunch registration paperwork was processed. However, on Tuesday, Jefferson came home from school and declared it was the worst birthday ever and told his grandmother what happened at lunch.“In my mind, he didn’t owe anything. I owed the money, the parents, the school district,” Bailey said. “And my other question is, if they take the food off of your tray, they have to throw it away. You would take the food off a tray and you can’t reserve it? You’re going to throw it away and not feed the child? That doesn’t make sense to me.”In a written statement from Green Local Schools, they said they are closely examining their policies. 1716
