BEIJING, Jan. 11 (Xinhua) -- President Xi Jinping urged military leaders to unswervingly follow the Communist Party of China (CPC)'s absolute leadership over the armed forces while meeting with the new heads of reorganized military organs on Monday.

The timely adoption of a counterterrorism law is, thus, imperative to safeguarding China's national and public security and the safety of its people's lives and property, as well as to the enhancement of international counterterrorism cooperation.

With concrete measures to build Party integrity, promote clean governance, and fight corruption, the CPC is taking the initiative in this cause, said Liu Jincheng, a clean governance researcher with the China University of Mining and Technology.

The China-Kazakhstan capacity cooperation fund will be linked to the Silk Road Fund, he added.
