Two people were found dead in a South Euclid, Ohio home early Saturday morning following a 12-hour standoff tied to the investigation of a Beachwood, Ohio doctor who was found shot to death on Thursday.Around 7:30 p.m Friday, SWAT converged on a second house belonging to Dr. Richard Warn in the 4300 block of Elmwood Road to serve a warrant with homicide detectives. Warn was found dead the previous day inside his Beachwood home on Brentwood Road.SWAT officers made entry into the residence using an armored vehicle and were met with gunfire. Authorities retreated and over the next 12 hours attempted to make contact with the people inside. (KGTV) — A former North County school security guard was arrested this weekend, accused of sending inappropriate pictures to children online.Steven Lloyd Duncan, a former security guard from 2003 to 2014 at Valley Center High School, was arrested on Dec. 10 by the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force (ICAC). He has been charged with multiple counts, including obscene material of a minor and luring a minor, according to his arrest log.Investigators say Duncan had communicated with and sent photos to underage children and received photos from children. Valley Center Pauma Unified School District (VCPUSD) said in a statement they have been informed told "none of the identifiable victims are from our community." (AP) — Arizona authorities say a driver escaped injury when his car's windshield was pierced by the trunk of a saguaro cactus during a wreck Wednesday on the outskirts of Tucson.Pima County sheriff's Deputy Daniel Jelineo said the black sports car struck the cactus while crossing a median before ending up on the other side of a road and that the cactus ended up slamming into the car's windshield.The broken-off cactus ended up partially inside the car, with the rest jutting over car's hood.Jelineo said deputies detained the driver for further investigation after observing signs and symptoms of impairment.The driver's identity wasn't released. 671
