SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — A woman involved in a fiery multi-vehicle crash in the College Area on Wednesday died several hours after being taken to the hospital.Casey Diane Hargis, 22, was pronounced dead at UCSD Medical Center on Thursday morning, after a vehicle slammed into the Ford Fusion she was in as it was stopped at an intersection the night before.Hargis and the driver, a 22-year-old woman, were both taken to the hospital suffering from second- and third-degree burns on more than 70% of their bodies, along with internal bleeding.RELATED: Several hurt in multi-vehicle crash at College Area intersectionHargis died of vascular injuries from pelvic fractures, according to the county medical examiner's report.The condition of the driver has not been officially released.Wednesday, a 63-year-old man was driving in his Mercedes when he suffered an unknown medical issue and slammed into the back of the Ford that Hargis was traveling in at 70th Street and El Cajon Blvd.The force of the crash pushed both vehicles into the opposite lanes of El Cajon Blvd, where they were struck by three other vehicles, causing the Ford to ignite and leaving the women trapped inside before witnesses could pull them from the vehicle.The Mercedes driver was taken to the hospital for treatment, but his condition wasn't immediately released. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A tour this weekend will give San Diegans a chance to see all of the options they have to make their homes more energy-efficient and climate-friendly.The San Diego Green Homes Tour features 14 houses, all with unique ways to go green."We have a variety of homes from luxury and do it yourself tactics that everyday people can employ," says tour Co-Chair Katie Teare. "We have a daughter, and we're really concerned about climate change and the world she's coming into, so we want to do everything we can to minimize our impacts."Brinner's home features solar power, a grey-water system, and a driveway that percolates water and pushes it to their yard instead of into storm drains.She and her husband took the tour three years ago to get inspiration as they started to design their new home."It might cost a little more to buy a nicer system, but if you look at the cost over time, since they're so efficient, you get back a return on the money," says Brinners husband, Chris Novak.Bill Powers agrees. He set up his home with a fully self-contained solar power system in 2014. He says it's time that these kinds of renovations become the standard, not the exception."This isn't fringe stuff. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- A San Diego organization is set to hold a job fair in City Heights Thursday, giving young adults an opportunity to find employment. The “CONNECT2Careers Spring Job Fair" will be held on March 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at Fair @ 44 International Market on 4350 El Cajon Boulevard.The job fair is open to anyone ages 16 to 24. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) - A Valencia Park dog owner is looking for the person that took his dog from his front yard Tuesday morning. Jayden Ryan’s five-month-old french bulldog, Greyson, was last seen playing in their driveway. His security camera shows Greyson walking over to the fence, but then the camera jumps to footage of a man wearing a hood walking away, and he appeared to be carrying the dog in his arms. Ryan says there were about three to four minutes of missing footage, that might have shown the man’s face, as well as how he ended up with his dog. He says the camera company told him there was an issue on the way the video uploaded. However, a neighbor saw the incident. He told Ryan, as well as 10News, that he saw the hooded man reach over the fence, pet the dog for about a minute, then grab him and walk away. The security footage picked up audio of the neighbor yelling at the hooded stranger and then chasing after him. “(My neighbor) says he tried to run after him, but he is 54 years old. He was no match for him, so he ended up getting away,” Ryan said. Neighbors said they recently saw the man in the neighborhood. Ryan says French bulldogs are expensive so they can be enticing to thieves. He would be surprised if he were casing the neighborhood. Ryan is putting up fliers, hoping someone will have information about Greyson, or the man in the video. “They didn’t just steal my dog, they stole the happiness from me,” Ryan said. San Diego Police say no suspects have been identified at this time and no arrests have been made. 1561
