(KGTV) — Stark similarities between a San Francisco brewery's beer can and the iconic soft drink cups used at In-N-Out prompted the burger chain to issue a cease and desist letter, though not without some light-hearted humor.Seven Stills Brewing recently crafted a new Neapolitan-style beer called "In-N-Stout," wrapped in a design resembling the much-loved burger chain's cup featuring palm trees and its signature yellow arrow.The resemblance is uncanny. (KGTV) – Military officials said search teams identified the location off San Clemente Island where an amphibious assault vehicle sank last week, resulting in the deaths of eight service members from a Camp Pendleton-based unit.I Marine Expeditionary Force said Tuesday the 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group “positively identified on Aug. 3 the location of the amphibious assault vehicle (AAV) that sunk off the coast of San Clemente Island on July 30.”Officials also said the Navy's Undersea Rescue Command “confirmed human remains were identified with remotely-operated video systems aboard HOS Dominator, an undersea search & rescue ship. The Navy has expedited the movement of assets to recover the remains of the Marines and Sailor, and raise the AAV.”Military officials said the AAV was participating in a training exercise when it started taking on water for unknown reasons at around 5:45 p.m. on July 30. Officials confirmed the AAV sunk 385 feet upon taking on water during a shore-to-ship manuever.Seven members of the Camp Pendleton-based crew survived the accident. Medics took two of them to Scripps Memorial Hospital La Jolla, where both were admitted in critical status. One was upgraded to stable condition as of Sunday night, Marine officials said.The other five rescued Marines received clean bills of health and returned to their units.Lance Cpl. Guillermo S. Perez of New Braunfels, Texas, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Perez was a rifleman with Bravo Company, Battalion Landing Team 1/4, 15th Marine Expeditionary Unit.The 15th MEU, 1st Marine Expeditionary Force and Makin Island Amphibious Ready Group worked for nearly two days to locate more survivors, but they concluded the search-and-rescue operation Saturday after 40 hours of searching across 1,324 square miles.The other eight lost service members were identified as:-- Pfc. Rotating enemies is extremely repetitive, but it’s a lack of a leveling-up system that truly makes the combat feel like a drag. The absence of a skill tree equivalent not only creates for less attention to detail in battles, but it also had me wanting to avoid them altogether. Rather than gaining experience points, you’re rewarded with coins that allow for purchasing weapons (that eventually break down) and extra health, but with the game’s battles being so easy, I rarely felt the need to purchase anything. Boss battles provide a slightly tougher challenge, but after a few failed runs, even they begin to feel like busywork, making me long for a meaty JRPG experience with a purpose. 1427

(KGTV) -- New cases of the coronavirus are being discovered in Vietnam, in the same port as where 6,500 sailors and Marines on the USS Theodore Roosevelt are docked. The USS Theodore Roosevelt left Coronado on Jan. 17, 2020, for a seven-month deployment to the Indo-Pacific. Now, seven weeks later, she is docked in Da Nang, Vietnam. Former U.S. Army Sgt. Patrick Furman lives in Hanoi. He still keeps up with military affairs in Vietnam. "This is only the second time that a carrier visited Vietnam post the war," Furman said. He said this special visit on March 5, 2020, celebrating 25 years of normalization, is being overshadowed by fears of the coronavirus. The country went 22 days with no new infections, but on Friday, Vietnamese health officials discovered nine new cases, all from foreign tourists. "Literally, the country was ready to announce that they had conquered this virus. That it had been eradicated. And then within 24 hours, all of this happens," Furman said. Vietnamese media reported that two British tourists who tested positive for coronavirus were intercepted and quarantined in Da Nang. It's the same city that now hosts the USS Theodore Roosevelt. "The British, being tourists, most likely went to all the same places that sailors and Marines on liberty would probably want to go," Furman said. According to the USS Theodore Roosevelt Public Affairs, Sailors were scheduled to participate in cultural and professional exchanges, community service projects, sports competitions, and receptions during their port visit. It is unclear if any of the 6,500 sailors and Marines came into contact with the infected individuals in Da Nang. 10News reached out to the US State Department to ask if any of the service members fell ill or if they had to cancel any of their visitation schedules because of the virus.
