SAN DIEGO (KGTV) — While Willy Wonka isn't expected to show up to San Diego Comic-Con, his famous promotion will appear before hungry fans.For the fourth year, the San Diego Convention Center has created its own chocolate bars that will be sold inside the center during Comic-Con, the center announced this week. A total of 3,800 chocolate bars will be made and sold near Ballroom 20 for each.But the real surprise comes underneath the wrapper for four lucky fans. 10NEWS' COMIC-CON CENTRALThe convention center has hidden four "golden tickets" inside the bars, according to the center. Those who find a golden ticket will be award a 0 Starbucks gift card — the perfect treat for an SDCC attendee.This year's four themed flavors include "Stranger Smores" (milk chocolate, crispy waffles, and maple syrup marshmallows), "Battle Bar" (dark chocolate and raspberry crisps), "Dragon Smoke" (smoked dark chocolate and chipotle dust), and "50/30" (sprinkles, birthday cake, and white chocolate).The last bar was named in commemoration of the 50th SDCC and convention center's 30th anniversary. San Diego (KGTV)- A high school teen decided to use his passion for science and astronomy to create a virtual space camp. The teen hopes to spark the interest of kids around the county and beyond.Ryan Clairmont is a junior at Canyon Crest Academy High School. He says his interest in astronomy started at a young age.“I remember when I was 6 or 7 years old, I went to the Palomar observatory,” says Clairmont. “I was able to look through their 60-inch telescope at Jupiter and the moon. It was an eye-opening experience for me.”The teen had plans to participate in a bio-physics internship this summer, but it was canceled due to the pandemic.“At that point, I realized there must be a lot of other children in San Diego and across the country, whose in-person summer programs have been canceled for the summer.”That’s when Clairmont created Cosmoto, a free virtual space for kids.Each day kids will learn about a different space topic and participate in hands-on science experiments and activities. All of the materials for the activities are low-cost items you can find at home. SAN DIEGO (KGTV) -- U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers over the weekend seized 461 pounds of narcotics worth more than .1 million and captured 14 fugitives.Officers intercepted 350 pounds of methamphetamine, 71 pounds of cocaine and 36 pounds of marijuana.The drugs were seized and the arrests made between Friday, October 27 and Sunday, October 29.The drugs were discovered in vehicles’ floor, car battery, seats, gas tank, tires and quarter panels, according to the agency.The 14 fugitives were arrested for charges including homicide, wire fraud, robbery and parole violations.One of those arrested was Deven Bargas, 20. Authorities say Bargas was wanted by the San Jose Police Department for homicide. 724

But there's a lot more that could go at a fraction of the price.San Diego State University will auction off hundreds of mementos from the stadium in December, including a variety of signage -- from seats to parking lot -- and heavy duty equipment, such as electric carts and automotive lifts. Starting bids range from to . Heritage Global Partners will be handling the auction, which runs online from Dec. 14 to Dec. 16. Pre-registration is available now.“Unfortunately we can't save the stadium, that's bigger than us, but we can save a piece of it for you," said Tim Shaeffer, Director of Business Development at Heritage Global Partners. Fans can buy 15-inch-by-15-inch signs that directed fans to their sections.
