A federal judge has ruled in favor of a group of adult entertainers who claimed their rights were violated when police raided San Diego strip club where they worked. An attorney for the women said the ruling essentially finds that the city's municipal code, which allows for inspections of police regulated businesses, violated the dancer's First Amendment rights. But the judge stopped short of ruling on the claim that the city also violated the Fourth Amendment on unreasonable searches and seizures. The San Diego City Attorney's office told 10News it's reviewing the ruling at this time and had no further comment. The dancers are also seeking damages, which their attorney says will be decided when the matter goes to trial, but a date hasn't been set.  797

A father accused of killing his three children during a domestic dispute near Sacramento, California was arrested on Thursday, ABC News reports. Robert Hodges is in a California jail while he awaits formal charges. ABC reports that he is being held without bail until he faces a judge on Monday. The Yolo County Coroner told ABC News the children were 11 years old, 9 years old and 8 months old when they were allegedly killed by Hodges Wednesday evening. Police said that the children's mother was injured during the domestic assualt. Her injuries are unknown. Neighbors reported to dispatchers a domestic incident to police around 9 p.m. local time Wednesday. Several people who knew Hodges and the victims said they were unaware of any domestic violence in the family. "The kids seemed jolly most of the time, seemed happy. A California police officer shot during the Las Vegas mass shooting outside Mandalay Bay hotel and casino is at home with his family for the first time in months.Friends and family welcomed Ontario police officer Michael Garcia home yesterday. Both he and his fiance were wounded during the Oct. 1, 2017 shooting. At one point she jumped on top of him to shield him from gunfire after he'd been shot in the head.Thanks to her bravery and months of medical assistance, Michael Garcia survived. He's now trying to move forward with his life and regain some semblance of normalcy."It's everything, it's been a long road, so I'm just grateful for everything," said Garcia.Garcia can't work at the moment due to his extensive rehabilitation but that hasn't kept him from being upbeat. A Long Island woman is showing off the unlimited potential of a tiny home she’s created out of a school bus.Some people call it a magic bus, but Catherine Ovejas likes to call it “apartment 84,” named after her children, who are eight and four.It’s a 30-foot-long, 50-seat school bus that she gutted and turned into a tiny home that sleeps up to four people.“We have here what can be a sitting area, but also a sleeping area,” Ovejas said.She bought the used bus, and with a little outside help she spent six months converting it.It’s about three feet from the sleeping area to the kitchen.“We wanted it to be as self-sustaining as possible, so there is a 55-gallon water tank secured under the bus,” she explained. 728
