(KGTV) - Surveillance video from a traffic camera shows the moment a small aircraft crashed in Scottsdale, Ariz., killing six people, including a San Diego model.The small plane can be seen traveling across the frame before its wings appear to go vertical and it disappears. A bill was introduced Wednesday that would prohibit the use of chemical weapons, including tear case amid policing activities.Democratic leaders, including Representatives Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY), Mark Takano (D-CA) and Jesus “Chuy” Garcia (D-IL) presented the bill, arguing that tear gas and other alleged “non-lethal” weapons have caused negative long-term health effects and could even lead to death.The bill comes amid nationwide protests following the death of George Floyd, a black man who died while in police custody on Memorial Day. During several protests across the country, officers used tear gas on protesters.The bill, Prohibiting Law Enforcement Use of Chemical Weapons Act, would ensure agencies of law enforcement do not possess chemical weapons. Weapons that fall under the act must be disposed of within a year of enactment.Leaders argued banning tear gas “is one of the many steps” that need to be taken to “fundamentally restructure the relationship between law enforcement and the communities they are supposed to protect and serve.”“To stop us from protesting the death of a black man who was suffocated by police, law enforcement is using a weapon that restricts our lungs -- during a respiratory pandemic,” said Rep. Ocasio-Cortez in a statement. “It is a horror on top of a horror on top of a horror - and it must end.”“There has been a disproportionate response by law enforcement to the peaceful protests occurring nationwide, often involving excessive force and the use of tear gas. A bowl, brush, bone, leash, collar, ID tag, ID card, puppy jacket and 5-pound bag of dog food are included. Future items purchased for the puppy are tax deductible. (KGTV) — The coroner's office has identified a teenager killed after a student pulled out a handgun and fired at classmates at a Southern California high school Thursday.Gracie Anne Muehlberger, 15, died from her injuries in the shooting at Saugus High School in Santa Clarita. One other student, a 14-year-old boy, also died at Henry Mayo Hospital in Valencia, but his identity has not been released.Three other students, 14-year-old boy, a 14-year-old girl, and a 15-year-old girl, were injured in the shooting, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff Alex Villanueva. Detectives said his mother was present at the time of his death.Investigators were still searching for a motive Friday. One detective said the shooting occurred on Berhow's 16th birthday."We have not yet established a motive or a nexus between the subject and his victims," Sheriff's Capt. Kent Wegener said Thursday. Officials added there's no history of Berhow being bullied or belief he "was acting on behalf of any group or ideology."Investigators said they believe the students injured were targeted at random, but added "it wasn't a spur of the moment act."It's unclear how Berhow reportedly acquired the firearm used in the attack. (KGTV) — The DUI suspected accused in a violent chain-reaction crash on Interstate 15 in Temecula that killed one woman has been charged with second-degree murder.Javier Calder, of Auburn, Washington, was charged with one count of second-degree murder and driving under the influence of a drug with an enhancement of causing great bodily injury, according to ABC-affiliate KABC.If convicted, Calder could face life in prison.Tuesday's crash occurred at about 7:30 a.m. on southbound I-15 near Rancho California Rd. Caldera was speeding in a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck at more than 100 mph when he slammed into the back of a Nissan Altima, according to CHP.The driver of the Altima, 44-year-old Janet Genao of Murrieta, died at the scene, KABC reported.Another vehicle was also struck and sent over the side of the freeway and into a parking structure at Temecula City Hall, the station adds.
