(KGTV) -- A Southern California resident decided she's had enough of thieves prowling her neighborhood and took matters into her own hands -- and the help of a water sprinkler.Katie Camarena, of Porterville, says crooks have been stealing tools and other items from area cars."Our flood light didn’t seem to scare them off," Camarena said in a post on Facebook.Camarena took a different and more creative approach. She opted to cool off these overnight bandits using a sprinkler."We decided to have a little fun with a motion-activated sprinkler that has an impressive amount of pressure."The trap proved to be very effective. Ring video captured early Tuesday morning and posted on her Facebook page shows someone on a bike with their face covered roll up her driveway. The person reaches her truck when he's met with a powerful jet of water. Even the sound of the sprinkler sounds petrifying.The person on the bike quickly ducked, spun the bike around, and peddled off.Camarena's Ring video went viral leading to questions from users asking where they can get their hands on this super soaking theft deterrent."Many have asked where it’s from. President Donald Trump on Thursday granted a posthumous pardon to boxer Jack Johnson on the advice of actor Sylvester Stallone."Today I've issued an executive grant of clemency, a full pardon, posthumously, to John Arthur 'Jack' Johnson ... The first African-American heavyweight champion of the world, a truly great fighter. Had a tough life," Trump said.Trump was joined in the Oval Office by Stallone, current heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder, and Johnson's great-great niece Linda Bell Haywood, among others."We have done something today that was very important, because we righted a wrong," Trump said. "Jack Johnson was not treated fairly, and we have corrected that, and I'm very honored to have done it."Last month, Trump said he was considering the pardon."Sylvester Stallone called me with the story of heavyweight boxing champion Jack Johnson. His trials and tribulations were great, his life complex and controversial," Trump tweeted. "Others have looked at this over the years, most thought it would be done, but yes, I am considering a Full Pardon!"Johnson, the first African-American world heavyweight boxing champion, was convicted in 1913 under the Mann Act for taking his white girlfriend across state lines for "immoral" purposes. She clerked for Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in 1998 and 1999. Scalia and Ginsburg had a close friendship, despite their strong legal disagreements. Barrett talked about their relationship as a role model for being able to disagree on matters of law, while not attacking colleagues or getting personal.Like Scalia, she is a committed Roman Catholic as well as a firm devotee of his favored interpretation of the Constitution known as originalism.“Amy Coney Barrett will decide cases based on the constitution as written," President Trump said of his nominee. “A judge must apply the law as written. He will be one of a small group of people attending the typically packed game.Because of coronavirus pandemic safety restrictions, the only fans in the stands at the annual game was limited to the Brigade of Midshipmen and Army cadets, according to the Baltimore Sun.The Army-Navy game is typically played in a larger stadium, however Saturday the teams will face-off at the United States Military Academy in West Point, New York. This is the only the sixth time the Army-Navy game will be played on a college campus, the last time was also at the Military Academy in 1943 due to World War II, according to the Baltimore Sun.Trump attended the Army-Navy game twice as president and as president-elect in 2016. POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) -- A man is dead following a fatal crash in the 12900 block of Community Road, near Civic Center Drive. The Sheriff's department says a speeding vehicle was driving northbound on Community Road when it hit another vehicle, causing several other crashes. The driver of one vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene and several other people were injured.Community Road was closed in both directions during the initial investigation.The Sheriff's Traffic Accident Reconstruction team was called to the scene and the investigation is ongoing.Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (888) 580-8477.Video from Sky10 shows the scene of the crash.
