A white man who allegedly killed two people at a Kroger grocery store in Kentucky tried to enter a predominantly black church nearby minutes before the fatal shooting, police said.The two people killed Wednesday -- Maurice Stallard and Vickie Jones -- were shot in the grocery store and the parking lot, respectively. According to court documents, the members of a militia group who allegedly plotted to kidnap and kill Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer hoped to conduct executions of politicians on live TV.The documents state that Adam Fox — the man who state and federal officials have called the alleged "ringleader" of the Wolverine Watchmen militia group — devised two separate plans. "Plan A" included recruiting 200 men, taking over the entire state Capitol building, taking hostages and executing "tyrants" on live television.A secondary plan was to lock the door and set the building on fire.Fourteen men have been charged by the state and federal government in related cases. The documents were filed in Jackson County Court last month.The plot planning went on for about six months. ALPINE, Calif. (KGTV) - The San Diego Sheriff’s Department and Federal Bureau of Investigation requested Wednesday the public’s help to find a man suspected of robbing an Alpine bank. The man held up the US Bank inside the Albertson’s grocery store (2955 Alpine Blvd.) on Tuesday about 4 p.m., deputies said. Investigators said the man approached the teller and presented a demand note. He took cash and ran away. Surveillance cameras show the man, who deputies said is Hispanic and in his late 20s or early 30s, wearing a black shirt, black “LA” hat, and jeans.
