(KGTV) — San Diego Sheriff's deputies Saturday were investigating a homicide at a North County apartment complex.Sheriff's deputies responded to the Sofi apartment complex on Midland Rd. at about 1:45 a.m., deputies said.Early Saturday morning, the San Diego Sheriff's Department received a call from Pomerado Hospital in Poway of a man who was brought in with a gunshot wound. Just after 3:00 a.m, Michael Walker died at the hospital.10News spoke to a neighbor, Christine Zobel. She was woken up at around 1:45 am after hearing commotion upstairs. "There was an altercation in the apartment on top of my children's room, and there was a gunshot that went through the wall and killed a man that was sleeping," Zobel said. Minutes after the shooting, Zobel saw Walker's wife drive him to the hospital. But he did not make it. "That could've gone through the floor and into my kids' room, or anybody around us could've been affected from this reckless event," Zobel said. Saturday afternoon, Sheriff's Homicide detectives arrested Manuula Save for murder. The investigation is ongoing. POWAY, Calif. (KGTV) -- Residents and businesses in Poway were notified Friday they have clean water after a boil water advisory was issued nearly a week ago.Testing was conducted on Poway’s water supply and samples were sent to be examined by state officials.City officials said the first test on the water, requested by the state, came back clean Thursday night. The order also forced may residents and businesses to rely on bottled water, which the city provided daily.As residents and businesses return to normal, the city reminded everyone to flush water pipes by running water until its clear, do not use water if it is discolored, replace any water filters and flush water dispensers, and for businesses to sanitize all machines they may utilize tap water and all fixtures, sinks, dishes and utensils.Businesses that have any concerns can also call the Department of Environmental Health at 858-565-5255. 1669

POWAY, Calif (KGTV) -- The Poway Unified School District doesn’t plan to return to in-person learning following winter break, officials announced Tuesday.According to a letter sent to families, the district plans to suspend in-person learning for all students and schools for two weeks, from January 4 through the 15.During that time, district officials say all students will learn from home. “On-campus learning will resume Tuesday, January 19, 2021,” the district said.The district still awaits approval from the board at a Thursday meeting where the move could be solidified.Read the full letter to families below: 625
