CHICAGO, Ill. – Travis Scott has become the first person since Michael Jordan to get a signature meal at McDonald’s.The fast-food chain announced its partnership with the Houston-born rapper last week, saying they plan to collaborate on food, fashion and community efforts.From Sept. 8 through Oct. 4, McDonald’s says it will offer “The Travis Scott Meal,” which includes a Quarter Pounder with cheese, bacon and lettuce, fries with BBQ sauce to dip, and a Sprite. The meal cost and will be offered at all restaurants across the U.S.“This is the first time since 1992 that a celebrity’s name has been featured on the McDonald’s menu, only done prior by the legendary Michael Jordan,” wrote McDonald’s in a press release. “To snag The Travis Scott meal, fans can order in-restaurant, for carry-out, at the drive-thru, or through the McDonald’s app.”McDonald’s and Scott say they will be exploring opportunities to support charitable organizations during the month-long program.“I couldn’t be more excited to bring the Cactus Jack x McDonald’s collaboration to life,” said Scott. “We are bringing together two iconic worlds. CHULA VISTA, Calif. (KGTV) -- A family in Chula Vista is beefing up security and warning their neighbors after surveillance cameras caught someone breaking in. Video shows a burglar smashing through a door in the house and ransacking the place before the family returned home with their young son with special needs. “It’s almost like TSA after 911. You just gotta not stop living your life; you got to fortify yourself and live your life a little differently right now,” said Dean Riggott.It’s the life Riggott, his wife, and their 9-year-old son say they’re living after surveillance footage from their kitchen captured the incident. “It’s a complete violation, like, right now I’m sleeping downstairs to be the first line of defense.”Riggott is defending his family against a burglar who smashed through a glass door and made his way inside. The family wasn’t home at the time. Their son was the first to notice the home had been burglarized.“He said, 'Dad, there is something wrong with the door, and there’s stuff all over the ground',” said Riggott.The 9-year-old couldn’t see what was wrong with the door because he is mostly blind. He also has autism. “Told my son immediately to get out, grabbed a knife and my club.”Police came minutes after being called but the burglar was long gone. The family was uneasy after seeing iPads, video game systems, and other expensive items untouched. “He’s talking to somebody the whole time on a Bluetooth, and I think that’s a key point.”Other than destroying things, the thief seemed to only target vintage, high-end purses, taking about ,000 worth. “He came in with socks on, he’s in the system; he must be in the system if he’s worried about his fingerprints.”Riggott says he hopes someone will recognize the man's face. (KGTV) - Arson investigators are looking into a fire that damaged a Mexican restaurant in Chula Vista late Thursday evening.The fire at Tacos Y Mariscos Imperial, located on 2490 Main Street, was reported at around 10:15 p.m., according to fire officials at the scene.Firefighters said the blaze started outside and quickly spread to the front of the restaurant.No one was inside the restaurant at the time of the fire.The cause of the fire is under investigation. 491

(KGTV) - A San Diego woman is recounting the gruesome story of digging up her murdered sister's body in a Tijuana backyard.Erika Gonzalez last heard from her 32 year old sister, Fernanda Gonzalez on February 2. One unanswered text turned into dozens before Gonzalez reported her sister missing three days later. The same day she was reported missing, her husband was shot inside their Tijuana home. He was taken to UCSD Medical Center and treated for his gunshot wound. He was unable to answer any questions about the shooting and his missing wife, so Gonzalez took to Facebook and asked for help. Gonzalez tells 10News each post had thousands of shares before she got a phone call that changed the course of the search, "somebody call me and said to keep looking for my sister because she was already dead and in the back of her yard". Following that call were two others that said the same thing, "three different people telling the same story it has to be true" Gonzalez says she immediately called the Tijuana investigator on the case but she says they said they wouldn't be able to get to the house for a few days. "Sunday my dad calls me and tells me that he wants to look for my sister."Gonzalez tells 10News they went directly to her home in Tijuana and started their own search for answers. Gonzalez and her father dug up parts of the backyard while her mother and sister searched inside the home. After some time of digging, Gonzalez tells 10News she saw her sister's boot and knew they had found her, "we just start screaming and walking from here to there not knowing what to do."Tijuana police got to the house about 20 minutes after they called to say they found the body. Tuesday, investigators had a search warrant and taped off the entire street so they could search the home. Officials say they do not have any suspects in custody. 1878
