If you’re caught, you could pay a fine of up to a thousand dollars and go to jail for up to six months.Thomas Flores says his neighborhood has become a home to wild pigeons. “I can't even come out of my house without having pigeons flying by my head, on my roof, on the street, and the sidewalk - on my lawn,” says Flores.These birds' poop can damage your roof or your air-conditioning unit. Even worse, pigeons and their droppings carry over 60 diseases.When it comes to these nuisance birds, Todd Wagner of a Better Day Pigeon Control has seen it all.“From the roof caving in from so much feces. The gas stations also, I've seen some of them. So much feces the wind and the rain. If it gets a good rain it will blown right over,” says Wagner.He recommends taking these measures to help keep pigeons out.“Don't feed the animals outside, cats and dogs outside they love that food. (KGTV) – A growing number of locals who trying to make it in San Diego are flying out of the Tijuana International Airport to save money on airline tickets.In only its third year of service, San Diego's Cross Border Xpress, or “CBX”, is soaring in sales. “You can save so much money by traveling out of CBX,” said Luis Palacios, CBX's Chief Commercial Officer. The pedestrian bridge in Otay Mesa goes over the border and into the Tijuana airport. It’s located about 20 minutes south of downtown San Diego. RELATED: What to know about using Tijuana's Cross Border Xpress“More than 85 percent of our travel for the whole year, by the end of 2018, crossed in less than 15 minutes,” said Palacios. San Diegan Arun Srinivasan uses CBX to fly to business meetings in Mexico. “It’s essentially like having a second airport in San Diego that just costs less,” Srinivasan said. “Every roundtrip flight, I've saved three to four hundred dollars.” RELATED: Making It in San Diego: Local cities among top in the U.S. for staycations Srinivasan said CBX also saves him time. “[Departing from] San Diego, I have to connect through LAX or San Francisco." From the Tijuana airport, there are 35 nonstop flights throughout Mexico and two to China. Security is a concern for some travelers. A 2019 report ranked Tijuana as the most dangerous city in the world. Palacios said CBX puts safety first. “It’s totally secure. PALM SPRINGS, Calif. (KGTV) - The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway reopened to visitors Monday after storm damage that closed the popular attraction for almost two months. The Valentine’s Day storm severed the power feed to the mountain and washed out a road, according to tram officials. Crews spent weeks making necessary repairs and cleaning up damage. The closure kept 100,000 visitors away, tram officials estimate. The storm led to almost million in repair costs and lost revenues. “It’s been a long six weeks for everyone, but today we are delighted to finally welcome back Tram visitors. On behalf of the entire Tramway staff, we are thrilled to be back open for business and truly appreciate the community’s support throughout our closure,” said Tramway General Manager Nancy Nichols. The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway, which is the world’s largest rotating tram car, opened in 1963. Its 80-passenger cars take travelers from the desert floor to the Mountain Station at an elevation of 8,516 feet in 10 minutes. Visitors can enjoy two restaurants, a natural history museum, documentary theaters, and hiking trails at the top. The tram opens at 10 a.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday.
