Akron, Ohio police are investigating after three women were found dead inside a home on Saturday night.It happened around 7:40 p.m. while officers were conducting a welfare check at a house in Akron. According to department, the officers first tried knocking on the door and when no one answered, they began looking through the windows and saw a woman on the floor. They then forced entry inside and discovered two other women.All three women were pronounced dead at the scene by EMS of suspected drug overdoses.Police aren't releasing their names at this time, but say they were 20, 20 and 21-years-old.  623

Aeroméxico airline confirmed on Tuesday that a flight has crashed near Durango, Mexico, and the airline was evaluating the damage.The incident took place near General Guadalupe Victoria International Airport in Durango, Gov. José Rosas Aispuro Torres wrote on Twitter. Torres added that emergency officials were responding to the scene. Aispuro confirmed that there were no reported fatalities stemming from Tuesday's incident.A spokesperson for the airline told ABC News that some survivors were being taken to area hospitals, while some were able to walk away from the crash. Video from the incident showed rainy conditions, and some smoke billowing near the airport. The airline said that 100 people were on board the Embraer 190 plane that was taking off from Durango en route to Mexico City.  840

Actor Hugh Keays-Byrne, who portrayed villains from George Miller's "Mad Max" movie franchise, has died. He was 73.Director Brian Trenchard-Smith, who directed Keays-Byrn in 1975's "The Man From Hong Kong," confirmed Wednesday in a Facebook post that Hugh passed away in a hospital on Tuesday."He was a fine actor and a good friend to Margaret and myself for 46 years," Trenchard-Smith wrote. Actor Rick Moranis was punched in the head, knocking him to the ground, in an unprovoked attack on Manhattan's Upper West Side, officials said Friday.New York City police confirmed a 67-year-old man was walking south on Central Park West near West 70th Street when an unidentified man hit him in the head with a closed fist Thursday around 7:24 a.m.Surveillance images of a person suspected of the attack were released by police. A wildfire burning in Arizona, just northeast of the Valley, is now the most massive fire actively burning in the country, according to officials.The wildfire has already demolished more than 114,000 acres, and it is just five percent contained, as of Thursday morning.The good news is no homes nor businesses have been destroyed, but some worry it is just a matter of time, as evacuations have been implemented in multiple towns.Fire crews say the wildfire has spread so rapidly and is difficult to contain because of the heat, low humidity, terrain, and high winds.The threat snuck up on Tonto Basin homeowners like Robyn Hill."I really wasn’t prepared for it. I thought the fire was too far away, and you are just kind of in disbelief," said Hill, who got the evacuation order Monday.Hill said she rushed home from her hair salon business in Payson once the alert came across her phone.She packed up the RV with her husband and two dogs, and they quickly left town."So when you got two hours to get your stuff and go. It would help if you were a little more prepared," she said. "I packed the bread and the peanut butter, but forgot the jelly."While the jelly makes for a good joke, leaving home was no laughing matter."You kind of shed a few tears as you leave the house because it’s my home, it’s my little paradise," said Hill, who tells KNXV she had just finished adding a pool and re-doing her garden and yard during the pandemic slowdown.While Hill and others are evacuating their homes, the Red Cross has been setting up shelters."[Monday] we had over a dozen people check-in," said Jim Gilloon, with the Arizona Red Cross.
